Moved into The Avant a couple of weeks ago and so far we LOVE it. Henry in Resident Relations has been amazing Read More with making sure my move went smoothly. He was very prompt with addressing any issues I had before and during the move in process. Maintenance has quickly resolved any issues in a timely manner. This has definitely given me a PEACE of mind. We moved into a upgraded larger unit and we are still in shock of how much extra space we have in our apartment. The community is currently doing landscaping and renovations to the exterior and we are very impressed. The pool area is getting a complete makeover, and although its not complete it is one of our favorite amenities. The playground is also a plus with having a little one who loves the outdoors. Overall we pretty satisfied with The Avant and so glad to call it home. We would definitely recommend moving to The Avant at Pembroke Pines.

Maintenance employee stole a package from outside my front door today, literally within minutes of UPS droppin Read Moreg it off. I immediately contacted the leasing office. Curious to find out how they intend to resolve this issue.

The experience living here has declined since Gold Oller took over. Now the only way to pay rent is online an Read Mored only through Gold Oller's website (you cannot use PayPal or pay electronically through your bank), and their website in my experience frequently does not load. In my experience, the payment website only loads correctly about 1 time in 10, so I have to keep loading the page over and over until it works and I can pay my rent. Also, your payment information is stored on the server of a third party company based in another state, and residents do not have a way to remove it from the system. All this in spite of the fact that leases in force at the time Gold Oller took over allows residents to pay by check at the rental office, but the company does not honor these lease terms. The entrance gates are frequently broken, and recently it took them over a day to respond to an overflowing toilet, which is supposed to be an emergency maintenance issue. It took them a long time to clean up after the hurricane, and they really didn't establish good communications with the residents during this time. If you choose to move here, you won't have a choice of cable and internet providers as the management has mandated a package deal from AT&T U-Verse. Apartments are overpriced for the square footage.
