Bay Oaks

Tree covered property with lots so shade and a very quiet community. Near scenic highway, in a very upscale neighborhood of larger homes. The buildings are old and the exteriors desperately need updating. Some units are privately owned, another group is owned by a corporation rental service. The rentals have older kitchen cabinets straight out of the 70s, but the appliances are modern. If they intend to keep charging competitve prices, they should update the kitchen cabinets asap. The office staff are very friendly and professional and we have had no issues with them. The parking is ample & convenient and the pool is nice to have on hot summer days. My rental also has washer drier hookups, however it's in the kitchen which is already very small and feels crowded. The living/dining areas are very roomy, the 2b2b units have big closets and both bedrooms are big enough for adult sized furniture. Our unit was clean, freshly painted and had newly installed carpet at move in. They even gave us a great move in bonus. We are very happy here.

The office/management in place at the time I lived at Bay Oaks were a husband and wife team, they were not very friendly (especially the husband) I lived at Bay oaks from 9/08 - 1/10. It was a fair place to live, however, I had issues with the unit above mine constantly leaking from their bathroom into mine. The cost of the unit I feel was over priced. I also was told at one time, while I was having guests over to my home, that I only had 2 designated parking spots/guests had to park on the road
