Since the property has become Preserve, it has gone downhill. At Elan we had a fantastic events that made a large complex feel like a home. The new staff promised at the end of May that we'd have an event "in the next couple weeks" to meet the new staff; there has been no follow-through. I used to be able to call the front staff directly and they listened and were helpful. Now, we've been provided with a corporate number that sends us through a series of prerecorded prompts without direct service by the staff on-site. They still have no idea what each person should owe - I was told to estimate what I would owe and they would bill/reimburse me any difference. In more than a month, I would have assumed that financial liabilities would have been the main priority to solidify. I shouldn't have to guess, but since the amount I pay changes monthly, I am at the mercy of their billing. This also makes budgeting a nightmare as I just have to sit with anticipation of if I will be hit with a huge bill when they finally figure out how to charge us appropriately. Day-to-day maintenance has been quick to fix any small problem I have submitted (e.g., toilet) and have done a great job! After-hours emergency maintenance is unresponsive. I called with an emergent concern and was told that someone would contact me immediately. I was given no instruction of what to do and no one ever contacted me, even when it was no longer after hours and staff is on site. I guess I just wait to see if they plan to address my emergent problem. The upkeep of the grounds have significantly declined with the new owners, particularly with pets. Our pet waste stations previously were maintained daily, including removal of the bag of waste and refreshment of available individual. Now, the waste stations are frequently overflowing leading to terrible smells in dog-walk areas and insects, as well as empty individual waste bags stations. The website now indicates that they intend to charge $10 to park on-site.

Glad to see everyone else had nice experiences here somehow. I feel like something breaks every week. Garbage disposal broke like 3x in the past year and never got properly fixed. Neighbors seem to be having dance parties all night or the walls are just paper thin. Dont get me started about the people in the front not giving any kind of notice for fees. Only giving us stupid emails about whatever crap is happening in the clubhouse. Why dont they send us emails about fees rather than stuff we dont care about? Because they want all our money. Got it! Dont move here. Theres way better options in the area.

Booooo! Dont move here. The first two months of being here our A/C didnt work. took the maintenance four different visits before they finally found the problem. And after all that we werent compensated for how high our electric bill was for those two months. Our master bedroom still doesnt have any air flow and is super hot. Theres silver fish all over the apartment. And now that were moving out were getting hit with a fee in the amount of a full months worth of rent for A 60 day policy that we werent given any notice for. For the price they charge monthly you might as well go to a brand new apartment building that have been popping up in st Pete.
