Both interiors and exteriors are neglected. Appliances are pretty old and in questionable performance. Cabbin Read Moreets are broken, peeled, discolored and administrative said unable to solved. When I moved here, due to financial issues, the unit was filty fans had moths of dust, food residue in stove and oven, and now we are experiencing rats inside the units. No letter sent to warn people. And the rent goes up every year. You can't compete with modern apts. And offered these prices for an old detriment apartment. The gym...is a mock of a gym. I stopped using it because only one treadmill was functional. Two bicycles and another machine broken in pieces. Is that a gym? Closet doors with rust. Humidity in walls, peeling cealings. The carpet had flees when I moved. I requested a fix in tub early this year and the mngr. Assistant can't put the work together for months. They don't follow up with works requested, if you don't follow up, the job is lost in time. We have a new manager that hasn't even informed us she is there. Simple detail that can make a difference. I have given instructions not to allow staff to come in my apt. (Except emergency, of course) if not there. Yesterday, one of them open the door to do the bath tub job I've been waiting for for over four months. Without coordinating with me, I was in the middle of a conference call....I work from home. Sincerely I am disappointed with what Newport offers and what they charge. Is not worth it.
