Gated community, 11 different buildings, tennis court, pool, gym, laundry room, dog park, car wash, and business center. West side of town conveniently located between epps bridge and atl hwy. Friendly office staff and a nice layout of the grounds.

Be careful!!! After 2 weeks several neighbors smoke pot! The local management is a joke! They are only there to collect rent! !daughter Had to leave and pay $6000 to get out of lease! If you are considering legacy mills DON’T! UPDATE: Called and spoke to mike keith and he said the regional manager would contact me. That did not happen! Consulted a Lawyer and unfortunately the state says it is illegal to smoke pot unfortunately clarke county nor the local management enforce clear rules of no smoking pot. They act hostile when you try and state your position! Just like other people have stated on here there are two sides of management here the nice side before you sign lease and the hostile side when you encounter a problem. Run don’t walk away from this problem before you suffer the expensive lesson our daughter found out!

It has gone down hill fast since the new management company took over a couple of years ago. Trash bin overflows every single week, recycle bin is even worse. Non-handicapped residents parking in the handicap spaces with no management enforcement. Constant smell of marijuana when you walk out of your apartment. Main gate hasn't worked in two years. Mail box broken with no lock over three years. Neighbors running above you all the time. The ONLY thing that makes it tolerable is the west side location for the convenience.

Now that i’ve got my security deposit back i’ll go ahead and let this out. I lived at legacy mill from september 2020 to march 2024. At first I loved it, management and maintenance were kind and timely. Unfortunately over time (and when new management took over) it became increasingly more difficult to live there. In July of last year my water heater leaked and flooded a large portion of my apartment. I was out of town the weekend that it happened (Saturday July 22) and wasn’t aware of what had happened. Considering how this is an emergency, you would think that someone would have contacted me as soon as it happened to inform me so that I could minimize damages and losses. NOPE! They contacted me 3 DAYS later (Tuesday July 25) leaving my SOILED shoes, furniture and other belongings for me to find once they finally got around to calling me. Once I filed a claim and got my money back for my losses, my carpet started to smell. Because they claimed they did an assessment that verified there was no carpet damage or mold (which sure, may very well be true) they were not willing to even consider getting my carpet professionally cleaned. At the end of the day, it still stunk. Why would I pay to get carpet that doesn’t belong to me cleaned when it is not my fault that the water heater that ALSO doesn’t belong to me, leaked? How is this my responsibility? And when I asked them about it multiple times, they were very nasty with me. Needless to say, don’t move here. Rent is only going up and there is not ONE updated appliance in sight. I have many more grievances but I am deciding to save my breath and you should save yours before considering moving here. UPDATE: they have responded trying to say that they received my request to have my carpet replaced 1 month before my due date (yes that is true because I wanted to have guests over for a going away party before I left on march 31st, 2024). HOWEVER THAT WAS A FOLLOW UP AND I HAVE ATTACHED MY ORIGINAL REQUEST IN OCTOBER OF 2023. Just so we are clear. If I still had my call log from July 2023 I would confirm that you all called me 3 days AFTER the leak.

Beautiful place to live, and pet friendly. Love how secluded it is, but also close to everything that is needed.
