Immediately responded to dishwasher problem within an hour and emailed us to let us know it was fixed. We didn't even know anyone had come to fix it. Quick and efficient thank you.

Love it here. There are some complaints about noise but thats to be expected in an apartment building. Also love that the place is so pet friendly. The staff is very friendly and the building is overall very nice and in a great location.

My first four months at The Sidney were great and ROACH FREE, this soon changed after new management settled in. I started seeing cockroaches maybe around March, it started out small at first, I'd occasionally see one in the kitchen. This soon unfolded to a daily encounter, I began to see them in my room and I even seen them coming out of the vents in the ceiling!! Despite frequent complaints about this to the leasing office, the pest problem still persisted and pest control did not help at all!I knew I had to vacate this place when I woke up one morning to a cockroach crawling on my arm! This was a VERY traumatizing event that caused anxiety and insomnia for weeks!Trash rooms on each floor were not kept clean, I have also seen roaches coming out of the trash chutes in the trash room! There is not a place that I have not seen a roach!!This is a pet friendly apartment but people never picked up after their dogs, it was commonplace to see dog excrement throughout the entire complex (inside and outside) and community areas.I honestly would not recommend this place to anyone, unless you are comfortable living with roaches.

This building is owned by private investors, managed by Matrix Residential. A massive overhaul of the exterior began the beginning of 2016 and lasted well into February 2017. By the time the construction trucks, scaffolding and workers were gone the manicured lawn was in shambles, my patio furniture was ruined. I was unable to use my patio for almost 6 months because it was covered in plastic and taped shut. There was NEVER communications from the corporate to advise, apologize or compensate the residents for failure to live up to the lease agreement. There have been least six false fire alarms (not including ones while I am out of town. As residents we must comply with the fire department and stay outside until they connect with the management. Most recent in May, 2017 from 1:00 a.m. until 2:30 a.m. Verifiable with the DeKalb County fire department. I pay over $3100 a month because I was promised a well-cared, well appointed, secure, safe environment. Instead there is lack of response from the owners and hostility, disregard and broken promises. I have NEVER been late on a lease payment. There are so many problems here that I started a video diary and will be posting those videos on a separate channel. Video diary will show the "updated" hideous interior -- all this while the exterior was under total wreckage. The management NEVER informed tenants in advance. Now that the construction is finished the place is just not the "luxury" we signed up for. With that the constant turnover in the over means that there is always a miss in communications, missed packages or no one available. The office is not manned full time on Saturdays so UPS, FedEx and Amazon persons rely on the residents to let them in and packages are left outside the building, piled high in the lobby and unsecured. If you are safety conscious I advise that you do NOT move here.
