    Alright folks, it's about time someone left a real review. I've been living here for 8 months. I fell in love with the interior and the newness of the buildings. I rent a small studio and I'm satisfied with the unit. It should rent for slightly cheaper though. REAL TALK: The management is abhorrent. I have never met such an unresponsive, irresponsible, and unapologetic group of people in my life. THE ELEVATOR IN BUILDING 2 IS CONSTANTLY BREAKING DOWN. If I call them to let them know, they won't even sound like they care. You can almost tell that there're people interested in renting in the leasing office because they sound like a cheating spouse covering it up on the phone with their husband or wife next to them. I have to call and ask them multiple times for them to even put up a sign. THE BUILDING 1's FIRE ALARM IS CONSTANTLY GOING OFF ERRONEOUSLY. I live in building 2, but I know this because it is EXTREMELY LOUD and even though the buildings aren't connected, they're about 100 feet apart with the leasing office in between them, it's loud for ME. This has happened even past midnight for about 10-15 minutes once. They claim that there's something supposedly wrong with the sensors, because none of these times that the alarms went off were due to correct reasons like smoke or fire. They say that they're working with whomever to fix this, but the alarm continues to go off once a couple of months. Right now the alarm's been going off for about half an hour. This alarm has gone off in my building too by error before, and it is literally deafening and disorienting. WALLS IN BETWEEN THE FLOORS ARE NOT INSULATED WELL. I can hear every step of my above neighbors. I've had to call in multiple noise complaints. THIS PLACE IS SWARMING WITH YOUNG COLLEGE STUDENTS. Because right next door is Oglethorpe University, apparently a lot of those students live in this apartment complex. If you've ever lived in an area heavily-concentrated with young college kids, you know.

    While the complex is very nice and we enjoy our apartment location, the fire alarms go off nonstop. Since we have moved in, they have gone off multiple times every month at all times of the day and middle of the night. Most notably this happened during tropical storm Irma in atlanta...

To be honest, it should rent for slightly cheaper. Mine's at almost 1,300.REAL TALK: I've lived in a dozen apartment communities in my lifetime. THIS IS THE WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX I HAVE EVER LIVED IN. The management is abhorrent. I have never met such an unresponsive, irresponsible, and unapologetic group of people in my life.     The ammenities, proximity to restaurants and stores, as well as the overall cleanliness and upscale atmosphere make gables Brookhaven an excellent place to live.
