This place is more than a scam. I received a ridiculous charge from the management after I moved out, demanding that I pay hundreds of dollars in addition to having my security deposit forfeited. I was charged $280 for a crack in the glass of the unit defective window panel, which was brought on by worn-out rubbers and moldings and defective latch locks. They charged me $90 for cleaning a common area carpet that was installed possibly 14 years ago with no useful life instead of renewing it. I spent five years living on a carpet which was already old when I moved in. They charged me $208 for additional items that I could have taken care of on my own. Ten days prior to the lease expiration, the apartment manager conducted a pre-inspection, and I requested her to do a thorough check as we left the unit earlier and it was vacant. She was expected to notify me and provide me with an update on what to expect at the end of the lease. Before the lease expired, she failed to provide me with any inspection reports, any indication of damage, or any potential charges. When I disputed the charges, rather than providing a solution and thorough justification, the management continued to persist with the $578 bill and attempted to defraud me of $370 in unjustified charges without answering my questions or acknowledging my arguments. All I could read on their website portal was that, without providing any further information, the administration had decided that I would have to pay whatever they deemed appropriate. As the final bill is still being contested, they hired a collection company and have actioned the bill to defraud me of hundreds of dollars instead of mediating it. The administration of Olympus Fenwick Apartments intends to rob his renters in this manner when tenants vacate the property. They hire another robber to empty your pocket if they are unable to rob you.
