      I've lived here for several years -- while it is true the management kept changing, it did for the better. The current company is nothing short of amazing. As with any apartments, unexpected things happen, but nothing that I could ever honestly state as completely unacceptable. My maintenance issues area resolved within 24 hours, the community is kept clean and well maintained. It is 95% completely quiet. Blocks from downtown, when considering location and utilities include, the pricing isn't unreasonable. I've taken any increase in stride (for 7 years). It is rare people will take the time to make a positive review and I'm happy to be a rarity (take that into consideration when looking at reviews! Happy people tend to say nothing.)

      Do NOT move here. There have been plumbing problems in the complex and they have been digging holes and leaving the place a mess for the last 7 months now. They have charged both my roommate and me a late fee on our rent twice now even though they pay it early. The rent has now been raised. There is dog poop everywhere. They come and boot your car if you forget to put your pass up. Both the bathroom sink and the tub clog up constantly and we have to have them come fix it. The heating and air conditioning is a mess, it is now 80 degrees out and they havent switched the heating to air, so we are unable to use it. The workers who work here fixing things are constantly smoking near our home and throwing their butts on our porch. Management is hard to get ahold of and overall too expensive for the quality of apartment. I suggest you look elsewhere!

      Do. Not . Move. Here. Too many things. In short.. -Leaky shower, freezing to scalding shower temperature -My apartment smells like smoke from neighboring tenants that smoke inside their apartments coming through the vents. Was forced to buy an air purifier, and I still smell it. -Owners are demanding that all tenants get rid of all of their patio furniture. Even small tables, chairs, plants, everything. Outside the 4 walls we rent is common area and all things left will be thrown away - owners never around to actually talk to I would never renew this lease. Ever. Do not move here. I bet youll hate it too. Just wait for it... Hoping the owners will please contact me so I can discuss all of this with them. Id love thIs review to be able to be changed to a better one.

      Management changes constantly so you never know who your going to deal with when you have a problem. The rent is increased every year but what is frustrating is that things like air conditioning and the washing machines only work about half the time, but I still pay for air because its included in the rent. It is a quiet place to live and close to downtown but if rent keeps increasing like it has they will soon price me out.

      Dorchester has large one-bedroom apartments with amazing amounts of closet space and tiny kitchens. Mature landscaping gives the complex a park-like feel. Covered parking is available for rent. The location is fantastic. Management/maintenance do not live in the complex so treat their time here as a "job" rather than as community members. There are a lot of cats and dogs in the complex and barking during the day when owners are away. When the cooling system for the complex breaks down, it can take weeks to fix because the system is so old (1960s) that no one in the industry knows how to repair it.
