    The management is unfit to run a business. The maintenance guy and manager of the apartment complex are dating. Dakota and Amber do not know what they're doing. Why does snow removal not exist when it's in our lease? It doesn't happen or it takes days! Why do we have to ask when the grass is going to be mowed because it's over 13 inches long? Why does Dakota go around threatening good tenants with new rules? "Make sure you're picking up your dog poop or we're going to start charging pet rent." I pick up my dogs poop every single time. Dakota is literally useless. He takes days to complete simple maintence tasks. He always has an attitude, but complaints fall on deaf ears. Dakota leaves a mess wherever he goes...paint cans, buckets, things unplugged or turned off, etc. He NEVER shows up on time! It's always hours after he's supposed to be there. Amber is nice, but let's Dakota get away with more than a business should. It should not take more than 1 maybe 2 messages to get maintenance to service the unit we rent.

    Dont move here unless you want to wait weeks for the one maintenance man to fix something he has no clue on fixing. They are unprofessional and unfit to run a business. They tell other tenants everyones business without realizing how small Morton really is and everyone knows everyone is some way or the other. They prioritize which tenants they want to take care of leaving the others with broken stuff in their units. We pay for a pool that is never open because theres always something wrong with it but in actuality its probably because they dont want to clean it or hire someone that knows what they are doing to fix it. The list could go on and on.

    I prefer to remain anonymous so I am not harassed. No one should have no hot water for (currently) almost 2 days weeks & still not fixed. No one should have to turn off heat at the breaker because it wont shut off otherwise. We pay for a pool we have yet to be able use for an entire summer. Washers in the past have taken up to 6 weeks to be fixed. Snow removal is either non-existent or only on the side of the complex where the property mangers live. A/C units can take weeks to fix as well. The management actually asks tenants who do NOT have dogs to pick up droppings that pet owners dont pick up themselves. There is MUCH more but I simply dont have time to list it all.
