Fieldpointe of Schaumburg

Do not rent here. My girlfriend lived here last 10 months. hallways in the building are so hot and full of roaches. Constant construction for last few months. Pounding so loud you cant even watch tv. Yet they want to raise rents. She also has ring door bell camera on her door since she lives alone. We looked online and its legal to have on her door. A crazy neighbor next door threatened my girlfriend for having the camera which police also said its legal to have the camera . The neighbor down the hall Constantly tries to start problems with us and the leasing office. My girlfriend feels VERY unsafe!!! we spoke with the leasing office all they offered to do was to move her Months ago without paying for moving costs, also at the time Lauren and Jose said its legal to have the camera. But now she got a email from leasing office lawyer saying that its illegal to have the clip on camera thats not screwed to the door and which has not altered fieldpointes property. Btw she received this email after she complained about roaches in the hallway. Instead of moving the tenant that clearly has mental issues and which the police have documented they are now putting my girlfriends safety at risk. The leasing office also told us that the irate neighbor constantly harasses them and swears at them about the camera . Instead of telling her nicely to remount or remove the camera they threaten my girlfriend with a notice to be evicted unless she Completely removes it. When my girlfriend went to the leasing office to talk about the email, Jose told her he didnt care about my girlfriends safety and was extremely rude. She is being treated this way because they dont want to deal with the ONE crazy neighbor in her building that just signed a lease.

Several buildings are not setting aside 30 percent for hud or low income....lacking economic times are at an overall low& no reason for 1 complex in sch.to accept while others discriminate

I have lived here for 13years. They have quick time response for maintenance repairs. The landscape and snow removal are completed in a timely manner. The tenants are cordial which makes a pleasant environment to live.

Requested maintenance call on heat issue. Within 30 minutes someone was at my door to work on issue. Job well done

Business center/ computer room. No security. People without security cards are being let into the center. No security. The staff is asked to let these people into the center also. Running in the hallways. Slamming of doors. Tenants above and next to me are noisy. Dropping things or slamming drawers. Music. Washer/Dryer in unit is a joke. can only put a few things in the washer. The Dryer does not dry. They changed the breed restrictions.

We love our southern exposure apartment ...bright and sunny all day long! It was just what we were looking for when we were apartment hunting but never thought we could find one like this! Staff and maintenance crew are great and things repaired quickly.
