DO NOT RENTI am a current resident at Brook Hill. Management team only cares about getting people into apartments, after that you are no longer important. When I signed my lease there was a monthly rent agreed upon(obviously). The only problem was that there was a mistake in their online payment system that had my rent listed much higher than it was supposed to be. After discussing this with management I decided to pay the higher amount so that I did not receive late penalties for those months. Management assured me they would credit my account in future months to account for the over payment. A few months went by and still no credit. When I brought it back up with them they had just changed online payment systems and now wanted to tell me it was not their responsibility to credit the previous payments. In short they stole several hundred dollars from me. On a separate note, recently the water had been shut off for several days(in the entire complex). Management went around and left notes all all doors saying that there was a water main break and they weren't sure when it would be fixed. I understand that they can not control something like the water main break, but when asked if they would compensate residents for their apartments being practically useless for a few days they said they would be doing nothing to help. It is also near impossible to get any maintenance help when you need it. There are many comparable apartments in the area, most of which will rent for less to begin with. Don't make the mistake of choosing this one.

The units are old, the rent is way too high for how old the units are. The heating is not efficient and my light bill has more than tripled. I had to send an angry email are I moved in because I was promised certain work would be done in my unit that wasn't. I have been living here 6 months and I'm still waiting on one of the requests to be completed.

Overall living at Brook Hill has been a pleasant experience. The office staff has been nothing but friendly, especially when help is needed. The location is perfect in terms of surrounding amenities. For the cost of these apartments there are some areas that could use some improvement. These areas include: the paint job and moldings in the apartment (looks cheaply made and chips off), exterior of the apartment (especially the deck above my entrance), the gym (could have some more weights, etc)

Convenient location; Customer Service is fine; Could use upgrades on cabinetry and closets; should consider hardwood floors; All homes should have storm doors; The homes are clean and comfortable; No bugs/rodents/pet friendly community; ample activities for families; Perfect living arrangements for singles and/or couples. I like it just fine. Plenty of parking for guests. Friendly staff. We lived in this townhome community 10 years ago. Much better now with all the new upgrades(W/D a plus).
