I am really happy with my apartment at Adams Village. The apartment was in great condition when we moved in and has significant space for the price you are paying. My partner and I rent out a one bed/bath (The Sandstone Phase III layout). We utilize our "living room" space (next to the kitchen) as a dining area rather than a living room, and use the bonus room next to the garage as a living room. We feel this utilizes the space better. The 1-car garage has a lot of space! The staff and administrative are friendly and very communicative about important information for the complex. Maintenance is very quick at responding requests and is very respectful of your space when working. I like being close to Rt 37 (soon to be I-69), which makes it easier to get to the west side of Bloomington and to travel longer distances; however, the current construction status in Bloomington makes it hard to get around town in general, especially during rush hour. This is obviously only a temporary situation, though. The rent is a pretty fair price, although it has recently had a significant raise across all apartments in the complex. Although not completed, I am excited for the new amenities Adams Village will be adding. One of my favorite features of living in Adams Village is being in walking distance of the Clear Creek Trail, which connects to many other trails in Bloomington. This is a really nice feature if you like to bike around town, or like to go running on paved trails. I would definitely tell anyone to consider moving into Adams Village, especially if you are looking to rent a nice apartment instead of buying a house or condo.
