Governor Square Apartments And Townhomes

Nothing really nice to say other than its cheapest in carmel for the size of apts but you also get what you pay for!! horrible maintenance staff and apts are in bad shape. unresponsive management for wornout apts and they don't seem to care not even for a prospective resident. very stupid way to manage a complex so good luck with that!! very low end for carmel i was looking at moving there but not anymore no sir. after initial chats and almost putting in a deposit i found all these bad reviews and experiences so gona save my money and sanity and go somewhere nicer.. Do yourself a favor and skip this one and drive right thru:)!

Constant water leaks

Landscaping is subpar in terms of the physical nature of it and also the landscaping company does a poor job of mowing, etc. The dumpster area is absolutely horrible. People setting out trash and furnishings. Health hazard and an embarrassment with visitors. Plumbing in my building is far outdated and needs addressed with an overhaul.

Maintenance became very poor. Lot of pot holes on the Apartment roads. Apartments are 40 - 50 years old but still charging the rent close to the new Apartments.

My family and I enjoy living here. The staff are friendly, helpful and readily available to help with questions or issues. The community is family friendly. The apartment has a ton of space for 4 people and is one of the nicest apartments that I have lived in.

Very dirty. Walls, floor, kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, all very dirty. Doesn't matter how much you clean them it does not help at all. Periodic heavy smoker smell through the vents. I don't smoke and I have had someone ask if I do. Vinyl flooring was very poorly installed bubbles and rips everywhere. Cracks and water spots in the walls and ceiling. Doors/cabinets/vanities/ are very outdated. I go home to my parents every weekend 2 hours away so I don't have to stay there.
