Wood of Castleton is great! Me and my roommate came for a tour and was greeted by a lovely staff. We looked at the 2 bed 1 bath model and it was very nice. cozy and NEW! They have new floors and appliances. The community has a lot of upgrades too. Brand new siding that is a beautiful bright blue color. They have so many amenities including a new fitness center! We were thoroughly impressed and already turned in our applications!

First; the overall Corporate structure through Muessing Management, is a mix of hope and disconnected decisions. Choices are scrutinized by Executive Management; leading to sacrifices and empty promises. Progress is painfully slow and perpetually delayed. The golden experience at Woods of Castleton centers around the rapport built with the on-site management team. Jessica is an amazing property manager; with authentic dedication and concern. Stephanie, who recently departed offered fire and passion that built great confidence and hope. Erin; joined the Management team and offers hope and another advocate to genuinely care about residents. Rachel shows the love and the concern for each residents. The pool; is beautiful and unique due to the salt water system. The hours, adjusted by Muessing offer, minimal availability negating an opportunity to relax and enjoy a beautiful feature. A new fitness center opened with some impressive features. Reverting to Corporate policies; limited hours and sacrifice convenience. The Club House previously promoted getting to the staff and other residents. The new leasing office is cold and uninviting. The community center was replaced by a sales office.The improvements in the community have been great, but a basketball court and walking trail were promised, but removed by Corporate. New siding, Fiber Internet and restricted availability of amenities are frustrating delays. Maintenance is responsive; work is not always completed at professional level. Jessica balances the often subpar efforts, by personally inspecting and following up.Major issues have been corrected and scheduling is flawless. The only true issue continues to be the quality of work, often impacted by speed and a desire to complete projects, such as; cleaning the maintenance building.

The neighborhood is fairly kept an looks nice in the summer and in winter they are really good at snow removal on the roads n side walks. The maintence team is pretty good at coming in a timely manner. We have only had a few issues in the two years (parking can be tricky, young loud neighbors, and bathroom fixture)since we have lived on the property. Even with these small issues the apartment complex is close to everything and rents for a decent prices.

Do not move here. It's a joke. The buildings are Pre fab a d in poor condition and the community has recently gone to subsidized housing. Joke.

Maintenance was timely, staff has been very polite and professional. I have not had any major issues over the course if my lease.

The main reason I said poor was because this is a section eight apartment. If i had known that before I moved in, I diffently would have ran. We paid rent and to know that everyone around us was living rent free. Another reason I said that it is poor is when I was transfering into a two bedroom, they gave my apartment away and I differnet know until the day I was about to move in. They offered me a three bedroom at a lower rate. We had no choice but to take it, we paid for it at th
