I Lived there A Long time Ago. And I did Like my Apartment VERY MUCH. The One thing I did NOT care for. Was that Every year when it came time to renew my lease. They Always Raised The Price Of my Rent On me. Then When It came Time For me To move. They SURE DID NOT WANT TO GIVE ME BACK A PENNY OF MY SECURITY DEPOSIT. They told me "My bath tub was to dirty" OMG I am A very Clean Person. My place was kept clean As could be. I would get down on my hands and knee's to scrub my bath tub with scrubbing bubbles

Apartment were nice and the amount of space was excellent! My air conditioner went out and the maintenance came out several times to fix it and it still was not working unless it was cold outside. DO NOT EXPECT TO GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK! The property manager shakes down the tenants. When I moved I was charged $400 for not painting my entire apartment and $200 for not shampooing the carpet. My deposit was taken for not giving a 45 day notice but the manager did not take these charges out my deposit. The manager wants me to pay additional out of pocket. The manager also gave me a deadline and sent me a letter threatening me with lawyer and court fees and to put the additional $720 on my credit in collections. THEY NEED NEW MANAGEMENT. All female staff! I should have listened to the reviews. Moving here was great but moving out was a nightmare. Why not take the fees out of my deposit instead of trying to financially ruin me I would of stayed but my rent was increasing $70 annually and the maintenance staff was slow responders. They was also putting tow stickers on my cars for not having Indiana plates. That's the police job not management!!! I'm done!

My overall experience was pleasant my only complaint would be because I lived on the first floor and it did not seem to have the best piping because kitchen sink would clog randomly A few times out of the year

Repairs rarely completed in timely manner. Residents are not notified when signing the lease that random inspections are part of the agreement. invading privacy and always scheduling inspections during work hours. they should be scheduled when resident is home, unless permission from the renter is granted to enter when resident is not home, and I even left repair notes since they said they were inspecting for things that may need repair, they put the notes on my cabinet and even obvious things like put cabinet handle on was ignored . Its treated like public housing when I'm paying full rent like any other home owner or renter. I was home one day from work and the office manager and a gentleman walked in to my apartment without knocking. I hear someone in my home, came out of my bedroom with my night gown on and they both stood there looking at me stating there here for inspection. Unbelievable the man proceed walk across my carpet with his shoes on as I stood there half naked. I had to demand they leave my apartment. They leave your personal mail on your door if late rent notice, complaints anything related to personal issues there for anyone to take and review your personal business. we have a mail box which they have access to but it seems they prefer to put all your business in the open. they had files on my deceased son in my folder and he was deceased over a year before I moved there. when questioned they said some law enforcement told them to look out for him as they were looking for him as if was a criminal. I went to crown point court house check with state and local police from Indiana to Illinois. verified no one from state to state has this file. And the office manager was rude because i questioned her about my sons 8X10 picture being in my move in file. i had to contact my attorney after which corporate office wrote me a letter stating this had been removed from my file. this incident that was the last straw I had to move.
