    Dont rent at here. They raised our rent after we agreed on a price and signed the lease, on day 1 our apartment had a bubble in the ceiling and a golfball-sized hole in the kitchen wall, and its a dangerous area. Weve heard gunshots outside our window at night and a person was shot and killed at the gas station across the street. We voiced this safety concern and asked if there was a way to get of our lease. They said yes! Just give us 60 days notice and pay rent regularly for those 60 days while youre still living here, then pay a small fee. What they didnt mention is that the small fee is 200% of rent, which means ~$2,000 that we cant afford, so were stuck in an area that we fear for our and our pets lives. There are multiple people in our complex who smoke cigarettes/weed inside, which is against policy, but they wont do anything about it. They send out notices occasionally, but they nor the police will investigate or search units and take care of the problem which has cause us great trouble because we have reason to believe it is giving one of our cats respiratory issues and the smells come through the connected air ducts, which in turn makes our unit reek of weed. Strong smells have a tendency to give me very bad migraines and feel extremely nauseous, so I often end up going to work sick, but the management here doesnt seem to care. We have no control over that, the manager told us. They have potholes the size of small pools and unpainted/poorly painted speed bumps the size of a full grown adult that are extremely hard to see. We asked them if our complex would be facing the woods as my roommate and I are both single, young girls and work late shifts. I sometimes get home at 1-1:30 am. They said no. They showed us the building wed be moving into after we signed the lease. It is 100% facing the woods. I hate this complex and wont be renewing my lease. You couldnt pay me enough to move back in here or stay here again after my lease is up.

    The apartment itself was nice, but the neighborhood and the 'neighbors' made my young family less than comfortable several times; esp since there were always cops outside my window waking my newborn and 3 year old (at the time). The maintenance took forever to make repairs; my heat/air was ALWAYS broken depending on the season; the office staff were not professional and the manager changed with the wind. And they claimed we owed a balance 3 years after moving out even though we received a statem
