Lived at Creek Bay Apartments for 6 years until we moved out. Its a quiet place surrounded by trees that gives the illusion of being secluded but there's a grocery store, gas station, and several businesses around the corner. To get to the apartment complex, a vehicle is preferred as the nearest bus stop is US 31 and Banta Rd and isn't shielded from the elements. The apartment was reasonable for a 1 bedroom/ 1 bath. The porches are screened in and the living room had a vaulted ceiling. We purchased one with a stacked washer/dryer unit in it and there was decent cabinet space in the kitchen and island. For as long as we lived there, we needed more storage space than what was offered so if you plan on staying a while or have lots of stuff, please use extra furniture for storage. They still had a long closet in the bedroom though, cabinet space in the bathroom, a coat closet in the hallway, and a storage unit on the patio. The facility was clean when we got it. There are some older appliances in the unit but they still worked fine. If we did experience an issue with an appliance, the staff and the property manager were always friendly and professional. If it could be fixed, it was fixed. If it needed replaced, it was replaced. They also responded in a timely manner fixing any issues we had. Basically, if you take care of the apartment, they take good care of you. There is a train-track located next to the complex but it travels on a limited basis and passes so quick that you honestly tune it out after a while. It was a cozy place and our first apartment. Would go back if we ever needed an apartment again.

Neighbors letting their dogs use the bathroom on my side of the lawn. After complaining about my washer and dryer shredding my clothes and emitting smoke I waited longer than week for a new one. In the mean time, I was given keys to an empty apartment and told to use the washer and dryer in that one. The cleaning crew threw my clothes in the dumpster. Other than those incidents, living there was fine.

It is a very quiet place to live. Whenever we have needed maintenance they have always responded the same day.

I had several issues with the provided dryer burning my clothes due to them getting pinched while spinning. I also had my garbage disposal break several times before they finally replaced it. The pool required a pass to be purchased every year but that didn't keep people from bringing too many guests and acting inappropriately. Parking was always difficult to find close to my apartment. When I first moved into my apartment there was a horrible smell that took a long time to go away.
