Great staff. Great maintenance. Love my apartment.

Screens need replaced, parking can be problematic, and the grills should be open earlier/later in the year. Everything else is pretty good.

Great area, nice community and I love my unit. However, rent increases are a bit steep and I wasn't able to get a discount for living here a year and upkeeping my unit.

Prompt service for repairs

My husband & I were extremely disappointed with our overall experience at Lake Clearwater. The day we got the keys to our apartment, we moved across state lines and had to wait another hour after arriving for them to do “finishing touches” on our unit. When we walked in, none of the knobs were on any of the doors or cabinets. There was a HORRIBLE smell almost as if we had just walked into a petting zoo. The vinyl on the countertops were all peeled off, as well as all cabinets. The towel rack in the bathroom was hanging by a thread as well as the toilet seat. And the ceiling fans were all loose. It also looked like the base boards had never been cleaned and were painted over many times-there was literal human and dog hair painted into it. There was food splatter on the sides of the counter and the backsplash from the stove. I could tell it wasn’t clean by the smell and the look. There were also used cigarette butts on our patio. We presented all of these complaints with pictures to their admin team and were denied any type of rental discount or reimbursement. I spent hundreds of dollars in air purifiers, candles, plug ins - nothing helped. I also cleaned every single surface - which includes scrubbing the walls and every door. Not to mention the hallways (at least in building 5) reeked of weed. It would leak through our front door and our entire front entryway smelled like it all the time. When my husband and I finally turned in our keys at the end of our lease I made sure to clean it VERY well for the next renters. Lake Clearwater took out $50 from our deposit for a “cleaning fee”. Not only did I clean it better than I received it, I know for a fact they don’t have a full cleaning team come in before the next renters arrive, so not sure where our money was spent. To sum up, we really do not recommend this place to anyone. 0/10 experience and we could not be a happier to be gone.

They require you to declaw your cats which is considered amputation and it is absolutely inhumane.

We have enjoyed living at Lake Clearwater. The complex is close to dining, nightlife, shopping, and the interstate. The pool and grills are great when the weather is warm.

Lake Clearwater is the best place I’ve lived since moving to Indy 6 years ago! Very pet friendly, the office staff is attentive and friendly, maintenance takes care of everything quickly the right way the first time around, and the pool is my favorite place to be May-September. I wish I would have moved here sooner!
