The lakes always had a very attentive staff and maintenance team. Expect, the after hours lock out policy does Read Moren't really make sense and does not benefit the tennants.

We've only been here 11 months after a move from NYC and overall apt has bee great but in the short time we've Read More been here, we've had a broken fridge (that was replaced after the icebox warmed and would re-freeze), a thermostat that stuck itself around 88 degrees over a 2-day weekend when we were gone (again, fixed very quickly) and a recurring problem with the water in our tub that prevented my 5-year daughter from taking a bath for like a month (metal shavings or ash kept coming out- water heater was eventually replaced entirely after "flushing" it did not help). So overall, the service has been quite good, responses are very fast, and Kayla in the office is very helpful, but I get the impression from our short time here that the facilities are falling apart (?) somewhat and need a revamping. My wife and I lived in an apartment in Cincinnati for 8 years and I can't remember ANYTHING going wrong. 3-4 major issues in 10 months just doesn't sound right. We were always planning on buying a house, so the fact that we're moving out next month was always a given and has nothing to do with these problems- but, would I recommend The Lakes to a friend given the issues? I'm not certain.

Matthew, we regret that your living experience was not entirely positive. While we are proud of the promptness and quality of our service, we're sorry your family had to experience a number of issues with appliances requiring repairs. I am happy to report we are phasing in new appliances and are replacing water heaters as needed, both of which should prove more reliable.
