We were moving from out of state and rented through the internet.. a garden apt. Well we had no idea a garden apartment was 6 steps up to the main floor and then 6 down to an apartment that was half in a basement with windows at ground level.

Decent place to live.

Living at Chateau Knoll has been a wonderful experience. The staff have always been attentive and helpful, even coming to service our A/C at 11pm on a Friday. We have only met kind neighbors, and even living in the lower level we've had a better and more pleasant,homey apartment than other apartments we have lived in in the area. We are looking to move to a different level at the end of our lease and again have found the staff to be helpful and accommodating.We are glad to be staying here next y

Snow removal is a bit slow, everything else is as good as promised.

Chateau Knoll Apartments were a nice place to live. I felt safe at the complex, had respectful neighbors, and there were a good amount of amenities.

The complex is older and established. There are some great things because of that. However, their ownership group is trying to push a "one solution fits all properties" approach that isn't really a good fit for this place. The apartments are ok. They have all of the challenges that older complexes have and the management team does a good job of ensuring that those challenges don't affect your everyday life. But, corporate has pushed online pay options on tenants that artificially increase rent. The ONLY way to pay rent is online and there is a fee for doing that. It's not huge. But, if you are going to force tenants to use a payment portal, you should cover the cost and not the tenant. The portal is to streamline your revenue. Not your tenants. The appliances in many units are very out of date. The management refused to update my stove over the 3 years that I lived here despite the fact that the oven and stove will not keep consistent temperatures. This meant things didn't bake well or evenly. Items cooked on the stove had to be watched more carefully because the electric coils don't keep a consistent temperature. The maintenance is designed to service units for residents who work away from home during the day and no consideration is given to being respectful of those who work from home. This means that the noise levels can be very distracting. Despite my negative remarks, this is definitely one of the better apartment complexes that we've lived in over the past 40 years. We have enjoyed our time and while there is room for improvement, we loved our little home there.

It's is a good apartment! The overall serenity is nice. Very peaceful. The housing is very nice as well. The carpeting is quite luxurious.

Living here has been easy and very convenient. The property is maintained very well giving us a beautiful little neighborhood. Maintenance is always timely and very friendly. The amenities are always close and easily accessible for residents. I have lived in 3 different apartments on the property and each one has been cozy and meets all of our needs. Definitely recommend for individuals and families alike! Never a dull moment in this lively community.

Having lived here for some time now I can definitely say it's an amazing complex ran by a very reputable company. Maintenance is very reliable and the complex staff are very helpful and friendly. Plenty of green areas for my 4 legged friend to walk around and the sense community feels very welcoming! Would definitely recommend to anyone searching for a great place to live!

I have been living at Chateau knoll, for the past 10 months it’s a very good community There is a tennis and basketball court. The community has an amazing location, walkable distance to Hy-vee and 2 mins drive to YMCA. Good staff, immediate response for any maintenance request, the work order repairs have always been fixed the same day. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great, safe, and clean community.

Hi my name is Ray I’ve lived at chateau knoll for eight years I really appreciate the area and complex the maintenance team is Awesome and the ppl in the office are great

Christmas Eve 2020 I called the office to tell them that the sewer in the basement was backed up. I explained that it was in the storage area and I was told that Chateau Knoll was not going to call anyone to come fix it because it was Christmas Eve. She did not care that human waste was going to contaminate everything in basement. There was over 4 inches of brown sewer water soaking everything before they even came to look at it. All my family pictures, year books baby books, collectables, everything ruined and they refused to take any responsibility. I would NOT recommend anyone move here.
