WARNING: BED BUGS!!!!I lived in the 6504 bldg on the second floor in 2015. About 3 months after moving in, I noticed some tiny black spots at the seam between the upper wall & ceiling in the master BR. I went to the office to inform them of my concerns, and without skipping a beat, one of the office staff stated, "Are you sure it's not eggs?" I WAS HORRIFIED!! WHAT??!! So, I went back to my apt, climbed up on a chair & with a damp rag & wiped the spots, which resulted in a bloody smear. I was sickened, I knew at that point it was bed bugs. I immediately checked our mattresses & sure enough, these sneaky, disgusting creatures were hiding underneath the seams of the mattresses!! I immediately notified the office & they said they "thought that a prior tenant had bed bugs months before"!! Of course I wasn't told this when I rented our apt! They said would get an exterminator, which took 2 weeks, & thereafter, they used their bug spray a couple more times. Literally, nothing more was done!! We were getting chewed up every night and losing sleep!! I contemplated suing them to get out of my lease, but lawyers said it's very difficult to prove in an apt complex that it was their fault & that I didn't bring them in! Of note, I've NEVER had bed bugs prior to this apt or since! In the meantime, we were spending a huge amount of money just trying to stay ahead of the problem that we fell behind in rent & got evicted!! We ended up losing our mattresses to this infestation & one of them was a California king Tempurpedic!! :( DON'T RENT HERE, YOU'LL REGRET IT!!
