    I lived here for 1 year and that was enough. The convenience of how close it was to campus was nice, however, there are definitely cheaper living options that are only a little bit further away. When I moved in, I expected that my bathroom at least would have been professionally cleaned or at least that my bathtub wasnt gross. However, it was not. The actual apartment also does not look like the model they show you, which I had expected. The kitchen is also not spacious at all, there is absolutely no cabinet space or countertop room. After a few weeks of living there, the entire door knob of the front door fell off and we fixed it ourselves but I did not like that there was only 1 lock on the door. The security gates also do not work. I was also told the only bill we had to pay was electric and it is usually about $20-40 per month. It was not. It was at least $50 most months, but in the winter months it was $80-100 (this is after it was divided by 2 people). That was while we had the thermostat below 69 when it was the coldest months and we unplugged everything that we were not using. When it came time to renew my lease for the following year, I was made to feel like I had to sign quickly or I would not get the same rent rate so naively I did. Later on I realized I wanted to get out of my renewed lease and move somewhere else. Not only did I have to find someone to take over my lease, I had to pay $350. My sister had leased with the Rockland as well and decided to get out of her lease too. We both paid the $350. Months later my parents got a collection notice for $350 from the Rockland, even though both checks to get out of our leases had cleared. They had put both checks into my account instead of one in mine and one in my sisters. Even though, $700 technically should have been in my account due to this mix up, I never had $350 of credit on my account. The Rockland never reached out to my sister or my parents to come pay the $350 after it hadnt been paid and it

    The Rockland is a great apartment complex with tons of great amenities. I personally love the business center with the free printing. Also super close to campus.

    Too expensive, not worth it. Not well insulated, noisy, only care about your money, cheap...

    I was sent a utility bill and two days later they added a late charge and was threatened with $10 per day added late charges. I asked for a manager to contact me and no one would do so. Highly unprofessional and horrendous business practices.
