      We lived here for a year in 2019 and the only reason we left was due to a move out of state. We downsized and sold our home and we couldnt have picked a better place to stay during this time. Gated community, quiet, and the most amazing staff Ive ever encountered. The management staff in the office (William and Lindsey) are kind, genuine, timely and helpful. The maintenance staff is responsive, kind and really do work hard to fix issues as quickly and thoroughly as they can. We didnt take part in a lot of their social events due to our schedules but they do offer a variety of monthly activities for all ages. Their clubhouse is open and spacious and the pool and workout facilities are very nice.

      I have lived here four years. I wanted to book the club house for a personal event. I was disappointed to find out that the club house is not available for residents to use for personal events. Apparently one person can ruin it for the entire community. Seems rather unfair.

      We just moved in to Bradford Pointe a couple of days ago. These are my initial impressions. The process from 'potential resident' to resident was fairly straightforward. Staff was friendly. Information was thorough. The lease process was done mostly online, which I appreciated. One disappointment was that the cost of our floorplan went down by over $100 between our initial commitment/deposit and the lease-signing/move-in. Although legally defensible, I can't help but to feel disappointed by paying more than the 'current market rate'. The property as well as our specific unit (a townhouse) is overall in good condition--not great, but good. The place shows its age when observed closely. Now, a few days in, I've started to notice some things that weren't obvious during our tour. (Again, those areas I don't mention are in either good or very good condition.) - Most of the the hung windows SUCK. They either don't close all the way, don't slide properly, and/or don't lock. This will certainly lead to higher than necessary heating/cooling costs. The stationary windows are fine. - Similarly, many of the screens for the hung windows don't fit well, so leave gaps (which will inevitably allow bugs inside during summer months). - A number of the kitchen cabinets don't close all the way. The hinge springs are dead. - After noticing that the clothes dryer was venting into the living space, I had to reconnect it to the outside vent connector. - The air filter in the heat exchange unit doesn't fit right (maybe for a different model). - The thermostat is an ancient York model (~20 years old). It's more than time for an upgrade. We've submitted maintenance tickets for the windows, screens, and cabinets. We'll see what happens. I'll try to update my review as things progress. Thanks! Chris

      I have lived here in two apartments for a combined 14 years. I am impressed with the fact that the office personnel are wonderful and don't change all the time. You establish relationships with these people. They are caring, professional and accommodating. The maintance crew are fabulous and are prompt and very respectful. They do all they can to make the residents feel at home. No residence is perfect but I have no plan to move.

      I lived in Bradford Pointe for over a year and in general enjoyed the community and felt safe. The apartments are what you expect in an apartment community, cheaply built and poorly insulated with inadequate heating/cooling equipment. The worst part was the heating where we had to use space heaters to supplement the undersized and inefficient heat pump to get the apartment up to a livable temp in the winter. The last 3-4 months we lived there the heat pump was not functioning and we were on only resistance heat. I had electric bills in excess of $600. After presenting BP with the evidence of the excessive bills they agreed to refund approx. $500 for 3 months of issues. When I presented evidence of the last month before we moved out they refused to refund any excess I had to pay or admit the defective heat pump. Odd that the heat pump was right outside my bedroom window and I never heard it run after about mid-November. Other than the issue with the excessive electric bills, I thought the staff was reasonable attentive and they even provided space heaters to help out when their inadequate heating system didn't keep up. Seems a bit below the standard I'd expect when paying over $2000/month rent. Gates to the community were frequently not functioning and left in the open position to allow residents (and others) to come and go. Pool and clubhouse are nice and they have an indoor small gym and some fitness equipment and an outdoor tennis court available for residents.
