I kept coming back to Gettysburg because it's just the best complex in the area. I have very few complaints, but just wanted to hit on things I would want to know before moving in. None of these are deal breakers for me, and were only a slight annoyance. Noise: My apartment happened to be facing a parking lot. People are not quiet getting in and out of their cars. I have an air cleaner on at night, so most of the time the noise didn't bother me. There were also a lot of dogs in my building, so sometimes the barking was annoying but never to the point I would complain about it or wake me up. Grounds: While they keep the entire complex perfectly well-kept, they are SO good that it woke me up many times on the weekend when someone started leaf blowing at 8am on Saturday. They also seem to have a lot of trouble with drains, and had to block off half of my lot for days or even weeks at a time to have a giant truck suction it out (and it was also loud). There seems to be constant notices about construction or paving or maintenance, which is good to have everything in top condition, but can be inconvenient depending on what they are doing. Like I said, none of these were deal breakers for me. Some things I appreciated about this complex that I haven't noticed elsewhere are little things like, they keep the floors vacuumed in the hallways when dog hair, dirt, bugs, and salt during winter would all get tracked in. Maintenance was STELLAR the whole time, always fixing everything within a day. Heat and A/C working properly all the time, no issues with appliances. Leasing office is always easy to get a hold of, all my neighbors have been pleasant, and I rarely had trouble finding a parking spot close to my door. It was also really nice that my friends could park there and didn't require a pass or anything. I really loved that the hills were well-salted and cleaned off during winter so I rarely had trouble getting out of the complex in snow.

A little outdated, but very clean. And very-well taken care off. Problems are handled promptly, and the ladies running it are extremely nice. A good representation of the community as a whole.
