    When I was there they never opened the pool the entire time due to covid and they also could never seem to get around to fixing our garbage disposal. I am not against covid safety but they really used it as an excuse to cut costs yet they never cut the amount of money that it costs to live there. They also hide the true costs of the rent behind a bunch of different fees. Like a "building fee" ... isnt RENT the building fee?

    Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We were required to have the pool closed due to the city's COVID policies. Once the restrictions were lifted, we were able to open the indoor and outdoor pool. The indoor pool is open year-round, and the outdoor pool has also been open seasonally. Last summer we purchased new pool furniture that the residents really love! We strive to offer the best experience to our residents and would encourage anyone having a maintenance issue that has not been resolved quickly to reach out to our office staff so we can make sure it is taken care of. We are happy to answer any questions about the rent that the residents are paying.

    (10/01/2021) Renters beware! Its incredibly hard to get the office staff on the phone. During the application process, they voided the first lease I signed because they forgot to include the pet fee. They did not tell me it had been voided until a few days before I was scheduled to move in. I only found out because I called to verify that my key would be available after hours. Then, I spent my first month unable to get my mail because my assigned mailbox needed a lock replacement. I ended up calling nearly everyday for about 2 weeks and when that didnt work I finally emailed their corporate office. Only then did it get fixed. Cigarette smoke residue is all over the apartment from the previous tenant, plus there is hair and dust painted into the wall and floor boards where the apartment obviously wasnt cleaned before the paint was applied. Also, there is a snake problem. Snakes on my patio, in the trees and bushes, Ive seen them slither into cracks in the outside of the apartment walls, and theres even one that seems to live in the flower bed in front of my building and under the stairs leading to the second floor. Ive already found 2 snake skins near the entrance to my building. I have also been charged at by 2 different residents off-leash dogs. To top it all off, the apartment decided to include internet to all residents for an additional monthly fee that they started charging during the middle of the lease and with no option to opt out of the service. If you do move in, be sure not to park under any of the trees! Most of them seem to be dead or dying and branches fall off regularly. Ive only lived here 4 months and its been one headache after another! On the plus side, the mail room door no longer locks so you dont have to remember the code to get in.

    Thank you for your review. We value our residents' input to make Stoney Brooke a great place to call home! I am sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations when you first moved in. We strive to make the move in process as easy as possible for our new residents. We have a professional pest control service that services our property for any issues that residents would have. We continue to make improvements on our property, including installing high speed internet service. It is a fiber internet and is a great product for the price for our residents and the bill is paid directly with rent which is very convenient. We have also recently completed tree trimming and removal throughout the property. We invite you to contact our property manager with any concerns that you might still have with your apartment. We look forward to hearing from you!

    The condition upon move in was not the greatest. Bad seals on all exterior doors and windows, in the summer my apartment stayed 78 degrees with constant AC. There was absolutely no AC flow to the bedroom. Apartment was received unrenovated yet I paid for a renovated space. Renovations didn't happen until 6 months later. The fridge that was being replaced was left in my apartment and I had called and asked for it to be removed and nobody ever came to retrieve it. The gym space is about the size of a closet with 2 pieces of equipment. Also managing staff aren't the greatest. You decide.

    the security is lacking. my car has been broken into twice and my rent payment was taken out of the drop box. no cameras in either place so no one was ever caught.
