    The place is beautiful but the management sucks. They can't keep a manager and the two office girls are clueless. Complaints and requests are ignored or brushed off. It's nice if you don't have any problems but if you do, don't expect to get a response.

    First off. this community is very nice looking, the landscaping is kept up and the staff is friendly in passing. HOWEVER, when you need something semi major repaired? You might as well yell it out the window. I lived on the 3rd floor (top floor) the fire sprinkler pipes busted in the ceiling. This flooded my apartment and the two units below me. Immediately a restoration company came in to the rescue. I was told I would be moved into a different unit and that my family and I would be taken care of. GREAT. Huge relief... THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. I was told that MY renters insurance (which is required to live here) would have to put me somewhere (in a hotel which was not an option considering I have small children and pets with a fulltime job). There would NOT be anyone to help me move and that I could sleep in a vacant apartment on the floor. I was also told that the repairs would be done in about a week. 2 WEEKS LATER MY APARTMENT HAD NOT BEEN TOUCHED. They dried the apartment, picked up the equipment, and left. The drywall needed to be replaced, the pipes needed to be fixed to prevent this from happening, the floor needed to be replaced, the apartment needed to be cleaned. No one from the office or management kept me updated, I had to beg for answers which eventually led to me having to be nasty to people in order to get anything done. They told me I could live in the apartment while the repairs were being done.. I don't think so! There is no floor! Even better? This has happened to 3 DIFFERENT BUILDINGS. I was told by a staff member that this could have easily been prevented if they would have put anti-freeze in the budget to keep the pipes from freezing in the winter time. DO NOT LIVE HERE. You would think if you had to pay $1,000+ a month to live here they could put anti-freeze in the pipes and make sure you were taken care of when things like this happened. I get it, disasters happen. But this was ridiculous.

    My fianc and I found ourselves in a dire situation and needed to find a place to live within 48 hours, and Apex on Preston was there for us.

    As a single young woman, I feel safe living alone at Apex on Preston. That is my biggest concern, and there has never been a time when I feel as though my safety is in jeopardy. Atop that, I love my apartment! The paint color, the countertops, the cabinets, the flooring -- everything is beautiful. I have one of the nicest apartments among my friends, and I pay less than they do for it.

    Upscale living environment which means very quiet and it's not to much traffic. Not a lot of teens hanging out. Very mature and sophisticated.
