Cypress Pointe

I recently moved out of my parents home. I spent several hours and days looking for the perfect apartment. Everything is expensive! I was on the verge of moving in with a buddy, until a stumbled upon CP. I originally wasnt going to check CP because I assumed theyre high just like all the rest. What Ive discovered is, its very hard to find a decent apartment in the east end for under $1,000. I was able to though at CP, and its really nice! The lady in the office, Toni, was super helpful and made my transition to apartment life very easy! The office staff is the best! My only complaint is that I dont have more time to spend at the pool since I work too much!

Current manager only cares about renovations for potential high dollar dwellers. They do not finish projects. They dont answer calls. They lie about maintenance times. They literally dont care about current residents, so they arent going to care about you.

Normally, I would have given a higher rating. But recent changes, have not been favorable. The location can't be beat ! In the heart of St. Matthews, but just off the busiest roads. Great shopping nearby, good school district, 2 wonderful parks, within walking distance, in a matter of a few minutes, located very close to Baptist hospital. When you enter the office, Mitchell is often the first one you see. Very friendly, always upbeat and always a delight. Represents the property well. And if you don't see him, it's likely Tony, the leasing manager. She can answer any question you have. Very knowledgeable, whether you're an existing resident or a new one. Bianca, out assistant manager, plays a more administrative role but will stop what she's doing to help. But since the arrival of our new GM, Emily, they can only do their jobs within limitations. Furthermore, so many changes, for the worse, have occurred and most have been, questionable, to say the least. I have been warned by other residents to not post an unfavorable review, as someone else in the past did and was asked to leave. I do have to mention our grounds keeper, Andy, he is such a hard worker, always pleasant and the best groundskeeper we have ever had. Since Matt has taken over the maintenance department , we finally have a fully staffed department. You can see Matt here well after 8 pm every night, and usually much later. The laundry facilities are constantly down. 1 in particular. And has been down since December. Many people have asked when it will be fixed and are always told 1-2 weeks. Waiting on a part. This came strictly from Emily. Not sure how long we are expected to believe this. And rules change, frequently, to suit them, so it seems, with no follow up. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy living here. I have the best neighbors, and am generally happy. Just seems that management, needs to be better supervised a bit better. It's a shame I can't post pics. So many dead bushes in front of patios.

I came to Cypress Point a little over a year ago and to my Discovery this place was affordable, very nice amenities, and the staff great! They help me transition into the apartment with ease and understanding. They were very helpful with providing me the information I needed. The grounds are very well kept, the garbage is picked up regularly, work orders are attended to in a timely manner. I almost moved out of here but my heart wouldn't let me make the final decision to leave. I told the office I think I'm making a big mistake and I'm going to stay. They were relieved to hear that and very understanding of my situation. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to experience a peaceful way of living. The current staff they have now you guys ROCK!

Angela the manager and the office/facility staff are professional, friendly, and helpful. Cypress Pointe is in a great location and the amenities are excellent. A+

Had a maintenance tech come around and my shower was fixed in a jiffy. Office staff will get back to you in my experience within the hour.
