I am currently an resident at Savoy Plaza apartment and I love staying here its peaceful and quiet and well maintained thanks goes out to management and maintenance team. The Reviews are true. The staff is initially very helpful and the accomodations are good for the price. They may, however, receive multiple requests/complaints and cannot seem to resolve them quickly enough, or to the residents' satisfaction. I have completed maintenance requests for myself that i still have on file in the office (Unless they have been discarded). I hope they get better in responding to tenants, even if it's no more than to say, We haven't forgotten about you. Thank You.

The gate wouldn't open, so I called the office. The phone kept ringing with NO ANSWER, not even a voicemail so they can get back with me. I kept calling for a total of 5 calls. I stayed outside the gate for 30 MINUTES! For 30 MINUTES I've wasted gas. Savoy plaza had the worst poor management. The pool is obviously a public pool because you don't have to use a key to get in. They don't keep the pool clean at all. There's kids constantly running around the parking lot with no adult supervision.

I was tempted to rate the satisfaction as average because one of the reasons that I selected Savoy is becasue it was supposed to be a gated community however the gate has not been closed since I moved in. I am dissapointed that the facility is not gated as advertised.

Several windows and lights in the building at 520 Wooddale Blvd. need repair or replacement. The carpet at my apartment was mildewed due to a plumbing problem at my apartment. The maintenance people were aware of the issue and promised to replace the mildewed portion of the carpet, but they never returned to do the carpet work. Discarded furniture is often left near the trash bends and present a disgusting sight when entering the complex. The heat in my apartment only works in one room.
