    Whenever you move into an apartment at Mansions at Ivy Lake, there are a few things you should be aware of. First, you should know that your rent will be higher than all of your friends. My rent for a single bedroom apartment was over 1100 dollars. The second thing you should know is that any service requests will be taken care of promptly.... if you can ever actually get on the phone with the maintenance team.... which is unlikely. Third, understand that even whenever you sign a lease agreement for a specified amount of time, you have to give 60 days notice that you will leave or else they will charge you two months rent. Fourth, check your balance every day because even whenever the leasing office tells you that you have paid your final balance off on your rent, you may find that they charge you more and then tack on late fees on top of that. Also note that whenever you confront them about this, they'll casually explain to you that no one is going to let you live somewhere for free as if that's what you were actually implying. The last thing you should know (and to be fair, this one is a complaint from a friend of mine, not my own experience) is that if you have a complaint about parking or a grievance with a neighbor, your best course of action is to go to the leasing office, put in your 60 day notice, then move because that is the only way you are going to escape these problems. Live. Somewhere. Else.

    beautiful apartments way overpriced, close to 1500, for a two bedroom, and close to 1700-1800 for a 3 bedroom. I hope they lower it down to a reasonable price, 1450 tops for a 3 bedroom.

    I was in the complex for almost 2 years, and the management turnover was the worst thing to happen to the place. Mikelyn is young and inexperienced and feels the need to bully the residents into submission. She has threatens eviction every chance she gets, even without legal backing when anyone disagrees with her. I have (as well as several neighbors) had issues with mice. I have killed over 14 of them and have reported at least 4 times and they have refused to do anything about it. Pulled out my fridge to see a massive hole and also one in a closet. The mice were destroying my food and overall disgusting. I paid far too much to live with an infestation issue. Also, considering how much people pay in rent, they rarely do more than the bare minimum to maintain the property, if you complain, you get yelled at and told to leave, if you disagree. The tenants are wonderful people. However, the lack of common respect and unwillingness to do above the bare minimum has forced me to move. Overpriced and undermanaged.
