They get to involved with your personal lives, extremely pushy, nosey, some people on the crew are down right Read Moredisrespectful and rude, they have some sketchy people living in the apartments. When we moved into our apartment, one bathroom did NOT work, after being told they fixed the problems, some drawers were broken and never fixed, the back steps were on the verge of breaking, people were able to come and go as they pleased, no privacy.

Our staff strives to deliver a friendly yet professional environment and I have taken your comments to heart. Apartments are inspected by management prior to new move-ins. As maintenance issues arise, upon receiving a maint request order by the resident, the issues are repaired in a timely manner. Some apts do have private stairways and anytime the office is made aware of unsafe conditions an emergency work order is created. Please contact the office, we want to get your maint issues resolved.
My boyfriend who is not on the lease works offshore and was getting his mail sent to my address at the apt. W Read Moreell, the manager of the apts starting sending his mail back even though it was addressed to my address. Also, we got engaged and he sent me something with his last name and she held on to it for 2 weeks. She has repeatedly harassed not only us but other residents. I learned this by talking to people at the pool. Also, there is a young girl harassing people at the pool on weekends

Your experience is important to us. At move-in, the new resident/s names are posted in the mailbox. The postal workers deliver mail to those w/ matching names, as not to clutter mailboxes w/ past residents' mail. Management does not hold mail w/out authority to do so. We apologize for any incoveniences, any resident w/ name changes or special circumstances should contact management with the information.
Many reason for submitted rating is because I'm no longer a resident. I decided to move due to the fact of a r Read Moreent increase I didn't believe to be fair market value. Upon my move I received a $16 return on my deposite because a cleaning crew was hired, standard procedure, even though I cleaned upon my departure. Fortuneatly I'm now a home owner with mortgage less than the rent I paid for a one bedroom apartment.

I thank you for your review as these reviews are very important to me. I do agree, rents in Houma are high. I assure you, rates are based off of the market and are in line or typically below our competitor's rates. Our renewal rates for existing residents are often below what the unit would rent for to a new resident. We encourage residents to sign longer leases which are rewarded with lower increases.
It's a standard procedure that residents are responsible for apt cleaning & carpet cleaning costs. We do need our units to be of move-in' ready quality. In most cases, a cleaning crew is hired to help us achieve that level. Typically, after cleaning costs, a deposit return on a $300 deposit will be near $100. Perhaps there was a balance due that caused your deposit refund to be less. You are always welcome to give us a call or come by, I would be happy to review the charges and refund amount.
Ridiculous rules for price/value of rent.
