I've been living here for 15+ yrs and now hate, and planning to move as soon as my lease is up. I don't care for the current manager much. I find her to be fake and phony and I really wouldn't be surprise if the 'good reviews' of these apts are being writing up by her and her office staff (I happen to know for a fact that Corporate gives them a lot of praises if there's great reviews on the internet). Repair staff, although fairly quick to respond, but tend to half-a** the work to the point where you need to call them back out again with them claiming they fixed it the first time around. Once a friend of mines fixed my garbage disposal for me and they claim it was them who fix it! Another thing, they walk into your apt with little to no notice. If you happen to be home for the day and don't want any company or to be disturbed, or say sleep in, best to use the deadbolt lock because they will use their key and let themselves right in for silly stuff like change the A/C filter. Oh, and have I mentioned the large cockroaches? They seem to be a thing here, quite a few tenets are saying they have them. The buildings are old and the apts units are outdated. This place thinks slapping a fresh coat of paint on the walls and buildings and laying down the crappiest, cheapest grade of new carpets would do the trick. If you're the type you doesn't like hearing people stomping above your head, you will definitely want a unit 3rd floor. The walls, floors and ceilings are so thin I can hear the people who live above me dog chewing his rawhide bone, and even that sounds like they're bowling up there. But like I said, I've been here for over 15 yrs now and have watched these apts slowly decline. With how they ran, how they're maintained, and who they are letting in to live here. Cypress Lake has strict rules that only applies to those who AREN'T the office staff pets, so to speak. A good deal of people are moving out, more than are moving in. That there should tell ya something.

Awesome place to live. Affordable and close to my office. The staff is pretty cool too. Everyone has made me feel right at home.

A quiet and peaceful community. The office staff are amazing. Honestly I would still be living there if me and my partner didnt decide to buy a house. It is definitely the best apartment complex Ive lived in so far.
