    I am a former resident at Westerlee Apartments as I would probably still be there if I hadn't gotten married recently and moved to a new home. From the Leasing office staff to the Maintenance personnel, all were great. My the day I went to the office to fill out an application for my one-bedroom apartment, to the few calls I made for maintenance (trivial things, bulb burnt out, sink backed up, etc.) the response was either the same day ( well for sink back up it was) or very next day. Anyone I spoke to in the office was always very pleasant and helpful. Relaxing around the pool was always nice. Sometime a staff member would come out to the pool area to ask how things were going and just have a pleasant conversation. That was so meaningful to me. Like I said I would probably still be there, and probably forever if my marital status hadn't changed. I never felt like a dollar sign, they made me feel like family. From time to time I still stop by to say "hi" if I am in the neighborhood, a couple faces have changed, but all the personalities are the same. Thanks for everything.

    Poor response time to most maintenance concerns. Seem indifferent when dealing with tenant problems, don't take the time to actually fix problems, just put band aids on them.

    This is the best apartment location in the Baltimore metro, and the prices are the best for what you get. To boot, the staff here are amazing.

    I have lived in Westerlee Apartments for almost 9 years. My daughter and I share a 2BR/den on the 3rd floor. We have enjoyed the large closets, large bedrooms and eat in kitchen. We have felt safe coming and going at all times and I will miss Westerlee as I relocate out-of-state. I do feel my neighbors beneath me walking at times, but it is not a bother. If you are looking for a safe neighborhood and large apartments give Westerlee a chance to meet your family's needs.

    Over the past three years there has been a decline in the overall cleanliness of the property. The hallways of the buildings and laundry rooms are not cleaned regularly, during the summer months the grass is not cut and maintained as timely as it use to be. My rent increases annually however after living on the property for 10 years there have been NO upgrades made to my apartment (e.g. lighting fixtures, wooden plantation blinds, countertops, bathroom vanity and lighting, kitchen appliances).

    Maintenance was generally responsive when there were issues in the apartment, and the office staff was also pleasant and helpful. The biggest complaint that we had is that the grounds were not clean, and this was a consistent problem that never seemed to improve. The litter around the garbage bins, in the grassy areas and in the parking lot was an eyesore and made for an environment that did not feel or look clean.
