No matter what side you are on, once you come here you will understand why so many people are flocking to Delmar apartments for rent. The median household income has rapidly increased during these years as well, showing that Delmar is becoming one of the state's most prosperous areas, too.

Living in Delmar, MD

Delmar's history dates back to 1859, when the Delaware Railroad extended to the southern boundary of Delaware into Maryland. Many railroad employees lived on either side of the state line and built up homes and residences, leading to the incorporation of Delmar in 1888. Although Delmar went through two disastrous fires and was hit hard by the decline of the railroad and the Great Depression, the town has always managed to bounce back and find new ways to reinvent itself. Today, residents can see the historical significance of Delmar from the town's Mason-Dixon line markers and "highball" train marker - one of the last of its kind in the U.S. Although Delmar prides itself on remaining small, the town is seeing tremendous growth and is excited for a bright future.
