I lived here in 2001 to 2003 and it was one of the best apartments ever. It's beautiful and you can see the gorgeous green rooftops from highway 15 as you drive past them. I worked night shift from 3 to 11pm and would find myself alone at night. I would go for walks on the beautiful grounds and take my cat with me. No one bothered me and it was peaceful and serene. I still dream of this place. I miss it.

MY PERSONAL PROS: 24/7 gym access, kind/approachable management, relatively quiet, reasonable rent, location, extermination services (with the exception of moths), quick to make technical repairs. MY PERSONAL CONS: not allowed to view apartment before move-in day, cigarette burn holes in our carpet on move-in day, cigarette odor on move-in day, strong marijuana odor that would come and go (smoking neighbors), relatively slow reaction to a bedbug problem, failure to exterminate surrounding neighbors' apartments after we experienced bedbugs, not non-smoking*, refusal to end our lease early even after persistent issue of marijuana odor. Your experience will likely be dependent upon the building that you are in. My friend lived there for around 8 years with few issues. You get what you pay for.

The overall quality could be improved if the complex became a smoke-free community. Plenty of folks all over the country are taking this stride. It is safer, less costly for turnover, and does not harm non-smokers. Smoking allowed on the patios and in walkways is not enough. It's disgusting and smokers do not have the right . Look into it with some legal counsel.

The Apartments at Sunset are the worst apartments I've ever lived at. I had many issues with the apartments. First off, the staff are VERY rude. If you want someone to laugh in your face for no reason, then this is the place for you! Also, they have outdated equipment and this will cost you a lot more in your bills. They will not give back any money...even if you can prove it. So if you want rude non customer friendly service and high bills then live here, otherwise STAY AWAY!!!!!

Maintenance was almost always prompt. The appearance of the buildings was kept up. It was obvious that the apartment complex wasn't hording all the money by putting money into the older buildings.

We lived there for a year and anytime we needed maintenance they came right away or with in a few days. It was a beautiful, very quiet area. The pool area is always clean and the gym is great.
