Counting down the days till we can leave. My husband got the apartment before i could look at it and there is Read Moremold coming out of the air vents, the bathroom door cannot close because they painted over the hinges too many times. The one time it partially closed i couldn't physically get it open even after ramming my shoulder into it. Thankfully my husband was able to open it. Oh and the construction they are doing is taking up 3 resident parking spaces. We were forced to park in visitor parking where my husband got towed sometime between midnight and 3:30 am. He is in the army and can't just not show up for work. We were NEVER informed that we could not park there. The complex refused to take responsibility and we had to pay $90 to get the truck back. The cheap price isn't worth the health hazard of living here. I'm highly allergic to mold and if the air isn't running 24/7 the musty smell kicks in. The dryers they provide take forever to dry anything (roughly 3-4 hours) i would have rather had a hook up provided to use my own. The only reason why i would say 1 Star is because of the nice mailman and the fellow residents.

Customer service is awful. You get good service only on the first day tonsee the model. They are all smiles to Read More get u to apply. After u apply ....no more smiles. Not even a hello to acknowledge you have walked in the office and seeking assistance. The apartment being ready for move in didnt seem important. Work men came in the get the apartment ready on the same day and also couple days later of move in. This is unacceptable. When you call to ask a question...the answer you get.....its in your folder. Like really. The only person that seem to care was Ally from maintenance and Raysa from the office. Customer service is very important and when renting a apartment At least have it nice and ready.

we moved to Briarwood place in September 2016 and barely 3 months, my vehicle was vandalized.laurel police inf Read Moreormed us there has been lots of theft and vandalism in Briarwood place and they would investigate. Two days later, a vehicle we recently purchased was towed the same day because we didnt have a parking permit. we notified the office once we got home that we needed a parking permit and was told they didnt have any and it would be about a week before they got more in. when we realised the car was missing, we went to the leasing office and was told nonchalantly that no cars were towed, the car was stolen and they have nothing to do with it. We had to frantically search the entire parking lot in the December cold with a child, trying to locate the vehicle. with no luck finding it, we decided to call the tow company and was informed the car was towed. We had to pay $170 to get the car back, and over $300 to fix the broken window of my vandalized vehicle in the same week. when i approached the leasing office with all that has happened, we were told it was not their fault.
we live in fear and no peace of mind because we didnt want to go through the stress of moving with a child. So far we have endured coming home in february to an open door, because maintenance left the door unlocked. Unbearable noise from the neighbors above us, which we noticed the first week we moved in and notified the manager. We sent a recording of loud noises which kept us up every night and was told we needed 3rd party witness by maintenance. when i called maintenance i was told it was not their job. we sent several emails informing the management that if nothing was done, we would terminate our lease but the noise continued. we suffered sleep deprivation and have had to sleep in hotels to get some sleep. our breaking point is the recent roach infestation which is unhealthy for a child. we finally had enough and put in our notice to move and got fined $2073.81.

The upper management don't seems too care about their residents heath and welfare when conditions are deplorab Read Morele and not willing to give some sort of compensation for the discomfort along with the suffering of what the resident has too endure. If they had too live in these conditions they would expect some type of compensation.
