Rodent Issues with no foreseen reimbursement for the ineffective response. On November 12 I complained to the leasing office that I saw mice in my kitchen. After hours, maintenance came & removed dead mice and saw a baby mouse running behind my refrigerator & stated that an exterminator would be called. However, no time or date was given until I called AGAIN on Friday 11/13, in which it was stated that the Exterminator would come on Tuesday. Over the course of the weekend my boyfriend removed an additional mouse and I still heard knocking and had to call maintenance again in which 2 more mice were picked up. At this point, as temperatures are cooling Im freaking out because now theres been 5 mice in less than a week indicating theres a hole of some sort located in my kitchen that they are coming through. Tuesday, 11/17 comes, no exterminator shows up. Do you think I got a courtesy call or any update to inform me that there was a change in plans? No I did not! I then call three times to get the answering service. Finally someone calls me back and says the exterminator cancelled because he was caught up at another property. So Im like is there not a back up solution because I find it absurd that only one contractor is allowed to perform services exclusively for a commercial service that impacts the safety, comfort, and residential experience of your tenants. It would behoove property manage my bare minimum to have standing contracts with at least three vendors per service that maintains the property from trash removal (which is tragic), keeping up the grounds, and most importantly pest control.

The landscaping of the apartment complex is lovely but the interior of the buildings and hallways are rundown and unkept. There is constant turnover in the office staff and policies and regulations change with very little notice. The maintenance staff, however, are highly responsive to service requests and very nice.

The maintenance staff was really professional and prompt. When I moved out, a new management company had taken over and they tried to charge me for replacement of the carpet in the apartment when it was well worn when I moved in. During move in, they said they would replace it at no cost. They also tried to keep my security deposit when I never had any late rent or anything. I had to find receipts to prove that I had given a deposit even though I had a signed document.

I was given an apartment beside rte 197. When it rained, the water flooded the patio. A report was made but nothing done. Consequently, the entrance of flood water which seeped into the apartment breathed mold. Our clothes were covered in mold. All of her clothing had to be taken to the dry cleaners which was quite expensive. Apparently, your management knew that the apartments breathe mold. Furthermore, I left the apartment scrupulously clean; your maintenance exaggerated carpet stain.

I have enjoyed living at Spring House Apartments this year. The only thing that ever bothered me were the people above us and their kids string around. That was taken care of by the office. Whenever something needed attention, maintenance has always been there to fix it and always cordial.
