Roaches and Chronic Mis-information characterize my experience with The Galaxy. My apartment was overrun with roaches-- in my dishwasher, coming out of the crevices of my sink, in my kitchen drawers and in the cabinets. Pest control came 4-5 times, but nothing worked! Upon move-out, the staff kept getting the amount I owed wrong. I got 2 different figures. Finally, the regional manager gave me a recalculated figure, and I paid immediately. I was told that I'd get my security deposit back because my move-out inspection went well. Two months later, the property manager said I was not getting my deposit back because I owed money! I let it go, because honestly, I was happy to get out of The Galaxy. The staff are genuinely nice people, but there is a serious lack of knowledge or training that negatively impacts the residents. There are better living options in the area.

I think having more community driven events would be well recieved. I recall my wife and I walking out the house and as we were going out they mentioned an event that if we had known earlier we would have attended. Having them on the elevator is great, I would recommend a monthly email about different things, within the building and Silver Spring in General

Overall I am not pleased with the level of service and upkeep if the entire community. Especially considering it is considered a luxury community.

The Propertiea appearance is declining over all. The wals in the hallways need touch up paint and the gym is not well maintained. This is just a few of my observations of the appearance of the building. It seems as though the management is only concerned with colleting rent and not the overall community. I have never lived in a building where an evicted tenets belongings are put out on the public sidewalk. I'm sure tenats have been evicted from the building in the past in a more inconspicuous manner. This month the furniture sitting outside the building made me feel like I live in low income housing. There has to be a better way to evict tenats

Unfortunately, it would not matter because I would never renew my lease due to the poor construction of the building resulting in being able to hear everything your neighbors do and not being able to sleep at night in my bedroom since moving in. I would have never taken this apartment if I had known; however, the bright spot is that now I know exactly what to ask when choosing my next location to live.
