    I have lived here for 16 years, that in it self should tell you something. i like it here. i very seldom need tech support.but when i do they are there. when i have a problem. rental property manager. is there for me. i will renew my lease for the 17th year. keep up the good work.

    This place has the worst apt management I am having problem with my fridge and my stove the property management stopped by my apt and stated that she was going to make sure that i get the necessary repairs but later refusing to help me stating that there was nothing wrong with my stove or my fridge after clearly seeing it for herself . This place changed the name from the colony to the hills at Kenilworth but kept the same old management sometime change come within when I informed her that was going to report her for failure to complete the necessary repairs she told me to go ahead with my complaint. . My fridge currently doesn't work properly? the stove top only two burners are working in my utility room wires are exposed everywhere. The management told me that she wasn't going to cover-up the wires because i had no reason being in the utility room even though its in my apt.

    Just moved in. Two bed two bath. Two months free rent with moving at a certain time and thats helped us ALOT. I love that it offers a second bathroom and I got an apartment with a HUGE deck which is what I needed for my 3 year old to have room to walk out on a deck with large space to play!! Be vigilant when walking through the place. Check everything and make sure its working. The people at the front desk arent vigilant about that. I still found holes in the wall and issues once I moved in. Cabinetry is barely hanging on the nails.. very very old. Some cabinets wont shut. The flooring seems to be on a slant in some parts. My fridge and dishwasher are completely slanted. The flooring in the bathtub is on a slant and feels like I might fall through... a little iffy about it. I know the place Is old. Both toilet need new screws you sit on it and it slants completely over. In my final walk through before moving there was a huge hole in door and wood planks that were standing up on deck that werent fixed even after I mentioned it so I had to be very persistent about both of those getting fixed ASAP. Door got fixed deck is getting fixed today. Getting the apartment was the most stressful process. My last apartment was a breeze compared to here. Communication isnt the greatest but the job got done I just had to be persistent on what I wanted and communicate through email consistently...they need more people working in the office they are being way over worked and you can sense the stress. So far Im happy with the place. I love the central air and washer dryer being in unit. I read so many bad reviews so I was hesitant but they are under new management so hoping this year will be pleasant living here. We will see!

    Got my keys to move in on 5/3 and started to move some stuff in on 5/4. I went in to the apartment to vacuum and wipe down services before settling in and found big problems. All of the lower cabinets and the linen closet were full of Mice droppings. Even the living room carpet is full of droppings and was informed that the carpet was just put in before we moved in. Not only was there an issue with mice droppings, the entire stove smelled like urine. There were even some droppings throughout the stove too if you lift up the lid. I had to go to the leasing office and report it and was informed that Id to wait for Maintenance or cleaning to come and reinspect on Monday and the Pest control to schedule a drill and dust for Thursday. Keep in mind that today, 5/4, is Saturday and we cant move speak to the manager or anything this entire weekend. Nothing can be resolved over the weekend. I had my brother bring his truck out to come and help move. I have to wait and see if we can speak to the manager and get our money back. This is time that we spent that we are never getting back and Im so upset because now we have to move things back and call Comcast and BGE to reapply services. I cant believe that we were charged for an unsanitary unit. Leasing staff like Tierra and Melissa are great but they deserve to work somewhere with better quality.

    I have lived at the Colonies for five years and I have seen my fair share of ups and downs with the management companies. So far this year I will say the new team that was brought in is by far the best. The assistant manager and property manager are both kind, knowledgeable and work hard to make sure my needs are met. The maintenance team is better than ever and follow up on any issues I encounter. The leasing team is friendly and I can tell they care about us residents. Although there are many negative reviews this team is sure to change all of that in due time.
