Citation Club

Do not recommend at all. I lived in Citation Club with my Family for about 4 years, we did not have a lot of options to consider to move to another place because of Covid and my pregnancy later. I do not recommend this place at all, they have the worst Customer Service ever, it's all about avoiding maintenance expenses or any other investment. At the end, you will be obligated or threatened by lawyers to pay for all the maintenance required so they can rent the apartment again. They kept our deposit and charged us more than $1,000 USD for painting, carpet renewal and cleaning. We lived there for more than 4 years and we left the apartment in a good condition. It is expected for the owner to renew the apartment for a new lease. The apartments are old, you have to deal with the kitchen appliances maintenance often, if something is broken they'll take from 2 weeks up to a month (best case scenario) to fix it once you place a repair order and call several times. The staff will walk into your apartment at anytime because you have to follow their schedule and availability and they will never remove their shoes. Do not worry about asking, they do not have time to deal with your request. Our car was also damaged there with the lawn sprinklers, they left the water running against our car for a weekend, instead of ground irrigation. We asked the staff to escalate the situation and we just got a NO for an answer. They can't take responsibility if the incident happened in the parking lot (public area) as if it was not inside the apartments complex. Do not expect anything from Citation Club management or their staff, you will never be treated as a Customer. Well, you will before signing the lease and then get ready for a nightmare.

Dont stay here! We were there from Sept 2000 until June 30th 2021 because it took longer to find a house than we planned. Worst place ever! The staff are rude and condescending, the maintenance is unresponsive. we had a non Gfci switch relight next to master bathroom sink! No response from maintenance. Front door had a 1/2 inch gap making it impossible to warm or cool properly. If they take you on a tour ask them to show you the rear of the apartments and the patios. You will probably see screen doors off and/or lots of trash. The only reason my screen door was up because after two attempts by maintenance when we first moved in I fixed it my self The washer and dryer are sub par at best, the dryer takes forever to dry because the vents have never been cleaned . With dryer running I put my hands under the vent outside and no airflow We were forced to pay $300.00 more per month because we wouldnt sign a new lease and went month to month. The last month we were there they left the sprinklers running for nearly 3 weeks! When I called to ask why,I was told it was because of new sod, there was no new sod, I believe they just didnt know how to shut it off. I spoke with a maintenance worker about this and I was told that it wasnt hurting anything so why do you care. I replied that it was now a mosquito breeding grounds, thats why I care!! After we had a 2 ft wide river at the bottom of the hill behind our apartment they finally shut it off. Dont be fooled when you see how nice the entrance looks, the rest of the complex landscaping is bland and grass is not cut often The pools indooor and outdoor are closed more than they are open and the hot tub has never worked. I have lived at Citation Club for 5 years. It has been for the most part a pleasant experience. I recently applied for a transfer mostly because I do not really like living right next door to an corporate apartment. I have not had a bad experience with anyone, but it is just my preference and also I could definitely use more closet space. So I filled out the paper work and waited to hear from the office. No one called so I called them. I was told that because I have been late more than 4 times that my transfer was denied. I respect rules but I wish someone could have taken the time to call me instead of me calling the office. I have been in my apartment for 5 years and may have been late at times but my rent has ALWAYS been paid. Of course we all have experienced rough patches at times. Mine was taking care of my terminally ill mother who most recently passed away and this caused me to miss income in the past. Even if the answer was and is still going to be no it would have been nice as well as professional to discuss the matter with someone. But I dont want anyone to think Im writing this in retaliation because Im not. I just want the office to know how I feel. I still love living here and will continue to do so.

Overall, the quality of services are good.

Great community. Friendly neighbors. Great amenities.
