Haslett is a small neighborhood in central Michigan, approximately nine miles east of Lansing and 58 miles northwest of Ann Arbor. The neighborhood is an unincorporated community inside of Meridian Charter Township, which is in Ingham County and considered part of the Lasing metropolitan area. The Haslett community was named after James Haslett, known for starting a Spiritualist camp in the area along the west shores of Lake Lansing.
