Hello! This may be long, but I hope its helpful. The ;tldr is that I love Nemoke Trails Apartments and I highly recommend it. For reference, Ive been here for about 8 months. First off, the office staff is very friendly and open. They are approachable and deal with any concern promptly. The clubhouse is clean and features coffee/creamers/hot chocolate, TV and sitting space, indoor pool, and cute little workout area (may not be the best for individuals more serious in their fitness routines, but has the basics). The location is ideal. Its quiet, close to multiple parks, and clean. There are a few different trails that my puppy and I love to walk down. Its close to a school, but the traffic from it isnt ever bad. Its close (like within a mile) to Kroger, Walmart, Home Depot, restaurants, Target, Meijer. Its also within 15-20 minutes of MSU and downtown Lansing. Maintenance is amazing. Any time I have put in a request, they are there to fix it same day (often within a few hours). The only down sides to Nemoke is the laundry and air conditioning. There are two washers and two dryers in my building, and I have never had a problem getting one when I wanted it. But the price is 1.75 per load, which I think is a little high and inconvenient. But this might be something out of their hands. The buildings are a little older so the air conditioning consists of a wall-unit that you can turn on, and it worked just fine for me last summer. I wouldnt call these deal-breakers. Their payment system is easy to set up and use, but if youre technologically challenged like me, they will help you~ This place is managed by Monarch currently. If youre looking at multiple places, itll be important for you to pay attention to who is managing the property. Monarch has been great. My advice is- Look for the deals and move to Nemoke.

Very high turnover. In the 18 months I lived there the apartment building had a turnover 9 times. There are maintenance requests that go ignored because they dont know what to do yet they close out the ticket. While some people may have found it works for them, its Russian roulette. With so many neighbors coming and going, floors with no padding and no insulation between upper and lower apartments it's really hit and miss. Walk around and look at the conditioned the exterior. Windows have fog in them which means cold air seeps in, causing mold and extra heating bills. In February neighbors kept their doors or windows open and you have to pay your sq foot percentage of all that lost heat.

The management is great. Maintenance always comes within a few hours for any request. Nemoke is a great place to live :)

The apartments are in a good area, back off the roads a little. I'm not a fan of the loud trains but who is? :) Maintance is usually good with responding in a short amount of time, my apartment is fairly up to date as appliances go.

Namely just the people who live around me and their lack of respect for those around then in regards to noise and behavior, but generally speaking it's pretty quiet, safe, and the staff is always helpful and on top of any issues that arise.
