Deerfield Woods

In 2 years of residence I saw several iterations of office management staff, the quality of which degraded over time. The office hours were ever-changing to the point that I barely new when they were open which is frustrating when you need to speak with the staff, retrieve a package or ensure your rent/utilities checks are physically received and a receipt generated. On the other hand, the maintenance staff was always fantastic, very helpful and professional!

I was very satisfied with Deerfield Woods community, I had to move because I lost my job and had to move to resident that fit my budget.

It was "Good" because it wasn't perfect but it wasn't bad. On the day of the move-in, they actually gave me the wrong unit (2nd floor instead of ground). However, they made amends for the error and I actually ended up perferring the 2nd floor unit. I always had issues with the door lock. On one occassion, I was stranded outside my unit for 2 hrs at 2 AM. I was thrilled the staff worked with me on a few month-month leases after my original 12 month lease expired. Overall, good results.

I haven't had any problems but anything i need they are always on top of it right away. I would have rated them excellent had not my rent been raised, and will be, every year. I would also like them to consider making the clubhouse rental rate more affordable.

Had a first floor apt. It was never warm. Was told by maintenance that was normal because of the cement slab being too thin. Put in at least a dozen repair requests and none were completed. Teenagers partying in the parking lot at night. I paid less per month than my neighbor upstairs that had lived there for 5 years without a washer and dryer! We were also told by ex office staff that they were trained to ignore repairs and issues that would cost them money. Use caution.

Whenever something needed to be fixed they were very punctual. They kept the grounds looking beautiful and clean. The office and maintenance staff were always pleasant to talk to.
