      When i moved in there was cat hair on the stairs, kitty litter in the closet, mold in the bathroom, and my apartnent smelled horrible. They did fix the mold in the bathroom but didn't admit it was mold. I got a second shampoo to the carpet but the smell was still in the apartment. I had to vacuum a lot and still picked up quite a bit of cat hair until the day I moved. I gave my notice to move months in advance. I recieved the necesssry move out packet and paid the move out prorated rate. However, the day I was going to move, I found a letter under the door saying if I wanted to remain living there I would have to pay or be evicted. There was no reason why I should have received that letter. I followed the move out procedure. They sent a final bill for my last ten days of living there to my current address. However, my new apartment number was wrong, and my new street address was spelled wrong. I paid my last bill in the time they required. (The note was threatening that if i didn't pay in a certain time frame they would call a collections agency on me) I got the letter later anyway because my current address was wrong. I had a collections agency call me with the exact amount of my last bill even though I had already paid it. I called the agency and they said they had no information on me and to contact the Observatory. I did and they said i wasn't on the collections list and that's not the company they used. I was grateful at the time for them correcting this situation. When I messaged them a couple months later about getting my security deposit back, they did not answer. So after all that trouble since I moved in and moved out, I didn't even get my security deposit back. My clothes and furniture smelled bad from that apartment for months in my new place. I would highly not recommend the Observatory to others.

      This place is falling apart it is in major need of remodel. The apartments do not justify the amount we pay in rent. Not happy and haven't been for a long time . Carpets in hallways are old and stained, always a fight to do laundry, outside doors are always broke, charge too much for under ground parking, not enough storage space in the apartments, walls are paper thin, Appliances are cheap, cant seem to get hot water,

      I have never lived in an apartment where I just can't wait for my lease to be up. Not only are the people at the office rude and helpless, they left out fee details when I signed the lease. All this property cares about is your money
