My wife and I lived at Hiawatha for about 2 years and during that time the quality of service we received took Read More a nose dive. Management rarely got back to us within a week and more or less took the approach of "out of sight, out of mind." One day we arrived home to find human feces next to our garage stall. After sending 2-3 emails notifying management during the course of a week, nothing was done about it. When the email notifications failed, I paid management a visit in person, only to receive the response of, "Oh yes, the poop emails. Is it still there? Have you cleaned it up?" Just absolutely mind-boggling. Last but not least, upon moving out, management notified us that they would be the ones to handle closing/opening the utility accounts for the apartment. Long story short, management never contacted the companies to stop/start services. We had to contact the companies ourselves to stop service, but only after incurring another month of charges. If you're looking for a new apartment complex to move in to, I would strongly suggest moving on from Hiawatha Flats. Over-priced and laughable property management at best.
