    Girard Management is awful and this particular building is a dump. Here are the reasons why: 1) There is a roach and mouse infestation. Girard willfully ignored tenant complaints for months until a resident reported them to the Health Dept. They then were mandated to respond, but they cut corners and performed a lower grade fumigation to cut cost, which ultimately did not deal with the problem. When I leave for the weekend and return, my bathtub is routinely filled with 40-50 roaches that presumably come up out of the tub drain. 2) I pay extra for a parking spot, and often there is a car parked in it. There is no way for me to get a car towed from my slip after business hours or over the weekend, which often leaves me having to park several blocks away. The tow company will only allow authorization for a tow to be done by Girard staff. 3) Maintenance is non-existent. I made a maintenance request over 6 months ago to fix a leaky toilet which still has not been responded to. 4) The front desk staff of Girard Management is very rude and the administrative staff seems to think their tenants are dispensable. This company is essentially the embodiment of a large slum lord, and operates as such. I would encourage you to avoid this building and avoid this company.

    The property management company was unavailable outside of regular business hours. When there was a car parked in my assigned parking spot, which I paid extra for, the management company was unavailable. There were often cars parked in my spot. Once, my spot was taken for an entire weekend and I was unable to have it towed because I couldn't get a hold of the management company.
    The building had roaches, was not well cared for, and was not very secure. The neighborhood it's in isn't the best.

    I felt that Lakesbury Apartments had extremely poor caretaking/maintanance. When I resided at this property, there was no heat for long periods of time during the winter months which is clearly unacceptable.
