I moved out and so glad for it too. Been stuck here for three years due to high rent cost, and the fear of what they will try and charge us for when we leave. When you tour they really talk things up like their free library and amenities but it's a load of crap. I am in the 2400 building and until I donated a bunch of books myself to the library it barely had anything. Fortunately the neighbors are a good feature, but that is changing slowly too. I've only had issues of other tenants messing touching my laundry in the last year after it became free and they took out 1/3rd of the machines. The rent goes up extrimentally each year and since all the building is cheaply made you have to worry about everything. The water is also disgusting here! We washed a brand new unstained pastel comforter alone in a washing machine and it came out with stains. The water causes weird film to wind up on everything in a way I never seen grow anywhere and also we've had issues with mold. They also don't salt or shovel areas they should. I had to walk in the middle of a street to get to the office today. I've seen cheapo apartments that are safer and better maintained than Cliffs. Just stay away if you value your livelihood.

Public areas poorly kept - recently cut back on housekeeping. Amenities have been reduced over the past several years. Expect rent hikes of at least $90.00 with each lease period. Rules and even code regulations not well enforced.

The apartment itself was okay, decently nice and the staff seemed fine. The management and owners are horrible. Maintenance requests took at least a week to get to if it wasn't urgent. Then came move out. The day we moved out the lady checking us out said our apartment was 'immaculate'. We shouldn't have any problems getting our whole deposit back. Then we get a bill from them saying we owe them on top of the deposit because they had to replace the carpet. When asked why they said management smelled a strong urine odor from a pet. We have had a a cat for 5 years. She has never had any little box issues anywhere we have ever lived previously. They claimed that it was so horribly strong throughout the apartment, that they couldn't pinpoint the location and so had to replace the entirety of the carpet. One person I talked to said they couldn't match the old carpet so it all had to go, which I apparently have to foot the bill for. I am not sure how we wouldn't have noticed what they were describing as horrible throughout the apartment when we lived there. Barring going to small claims court they won't listen to reason. They demand every cent they can get out of you and more. Maybe you will be fine if you don't have pets they can blame to get more out of you.

These are older apartments but you won't find more space for your money. Very convenient to 394 and whole foods,trader Joe's, byerleys.

Refrigerator not working properly. Contacted the front office and within the hour they removed and replaced our refrigerator. Great staff very friendly and maintenance staff very efficient.Thank You Guys!
