The newest manager (I've lived here a little over a year and this is the 3rd one) is more responsive to maintenance requests than previous the ones mentioned in previous reviews. The quality of the apartments is not equal to rent charged. Don't be fooled by the pictures. The exteriors of most buildings are in need of repairs. The lattice work is broken. The stairs are rusted and the railings are broken. There is no gym. The floors in my apartment were "repaired" before I moved in, but the tiles in the kitchen are cracked and there are weak spots throughout the apartment. Also, the complex is located in a flood zone, so be prepared to move your car and/or evacuate for throughout the 6 months of hurricane season because the parking lot will flood. It is not worth the money!

Sorry, but just have to vent my frustration here. Have been waiting to get maintenance in my apartment for the past 3 months (basically since I moved in) with no results. Garbage disposal doesn't work so I can only use one side of my kitchen sink. It worked for the first couple of days, then NOTHING but, not realizing it stopped working, I put food in it and then had to try to get it out. THEN it started backing up into the dishwasher, so THEN I couldn't use it either! I did what they told me - use the online maintenance request - NOTHING! You can't EVER get anyone in the office and if you DO manage to get someone, they NEVER call you back. They don't get how frustrating this is!!! But they sure do expect that RENT!!! So disappointed considering how nice they were at first - should have seen the red flag when it took them two (2) weeks to even let me see the apartment. UPDATE: ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RENT HERE!!! Believe it or not - I'm STILL waiting on someone to fix my ice maker AND the leak under my sink. I now have mold growing under my sink - I am NOT cleaning it up again. There are now bunches of little black flies that swarm up in the morning when I walk in the kitchen, little tiny roaches have started to appear, the ice maker STILL leaks out on the floor. I am beside myself and frustrated beyond belief! I am going to use duct tape and seal off the cabinet so that nothing else craws out of there. For THIS I'm paying almost $1,000 per month. So stupid me again calls the office and, for once get a live person, and after telling the woman what's going on and what I have been going through, guess what? YOU GUESSED IT!!! She advised me to again put in an online maintenance request. I asked her why would I do this, considering nothing's been done for the past 6 MONTHS since I moved in here. What difference would ANOTHER request make? Nothing has worked for the past 6 MONTHS.

Josh(our manager) is highly efficient and kind. My only complaints are the dumpster overflow and trash. My other complaint is lack of fenced dog area.

Staff was friendly and responsive, prices seemed fair for the apartments. Some building upkeep such as unstable foundations in the stairwell was the reason for a "good" instead of "excellent"

The apartments are very spacious and well maintained. They are a reasonable price for the area, and are a quick drive from downtown Bay Saint Louis. The exterior upkeep of the buildings is lacking, as many buildings lately have had to undergo serious structural fixes lately and stairwells are very dirty. However, the staff are incredibly friendly and very quick to respond to any questions/concerns.

The biggest problem I had was getting my ac repaired. It went out several times last year and I was told that I was making it work too hard. That is complete nonsense. If an ac is in good working condition and sized correctly for the residence it should be able to keep an apt cool. My apt got up to 80 degrees which is ridiculous. The floors are also buckling and the wood is separating in some places as well as the floors are sloping.

I like the floorplan, kitchen and bath fixtures and appliances, wood and tile floors, fantastic view of woods surrounding property, convenient parking, soundproofing and insulation, washer and dryer hook-ups, cable package included in rent, friendly and helpful staff, and proximity to beach and stores.

The condition of the apartments does not reflect the rent charged. They allow stray cats to roam the complex, which has created challenges while walking my dog. My dog has also battled with fleas since moving here. The apartments have a musty smell, which I assume comes from the bamboo flooring. The free wifi doesn't work very well at all. If you want wifi, make plans to purchase it yourself and don't count that as a benefit of these apartments.
