    We moved into this apartment complex 2 years ago. One day before our move in day we were told our unit was actually not ready to move into and our only option was to pay more in rent for an upgraded unit. A year later we signed a renewal lease and a couple weeks after It was signed we got another email notification saying that we signed a new updated lease. They increased our rent on this lease without our consent and forged our signature via DocuSign. They corrected It weeks later but never gave an explanation to how this happened. 30 days after we moved out we received a letter from a collections agency for over $900 with absolutely no explanation of the charges. The rent pricing is affordable but not worth the headache of dealing with the poor management. Save yourself the stress and choose a different complex.

    I never write bad reviews, but trust me when I say you do not want to live here. They say they put 6mil into the apartments, but our $1400 a month apartment was falling apart, cabinets, appliances etc. They were incredibly misleading upon signing our lease and our apartment did not come with the amenities promised. They charge you for pest control although never once sprayed and there were BUGS everywhere. They charge you $25 a month for valet trash, wether you want it or not. Above all, they do not care about their residents, they just want your money. Please, do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere. Do not give these people your hard earned cash.

    I love living at Vicino on the Lake! Creve Coeur is a great area in general but living on this property makes me feel extremely safe. My maintenance requests are always taken care of within the day and the staff is super kind and helpful. I highly recommend this community to anyone hoping to move to West County!

    A Stellar employee of the Vicino On The Lakes. Miss Kippy is uniquely suited in her position with the company due to her warm and caring sensibility to its community tenants. I found myself getting swept away in her warmth and focus she gives to the issues I need to report to maintenance. The fact that she actually remembers my name and all member of my family is more than I can comprehend, I know youth has its rewards, but she is super in how she remembers the details of passing conversation and concerns. Miss Kippy is by far one of Vicino On The Lakes. most valuable and precious asset. Follow-through is so very important In good business practices and I believe Miss Kippy has got the ball and ran with it! THIS IS A HOMERUN FOR Miss Kippy.

    This is my first lease and last at this place. I have only been here two months. Within that time Ive had three 4 service calls for shower not working and hot water going out. They said its because of the winter but Ive lived in this area for all my life and never had that occur anywhere else. They include a valet trash for $25 that they dont disclose to you then say its on your lease even though it seems to be optional but its not. Even so they do not even provide you with the valet trash service canister that they charge you for until you call and ask to remove it. If its required, why isnt it required to provide one without asking two months later? Not renewing and looking at other places to relocate even if I have to pay the early termination fees of three months required. Save yourself a headache

    I lived at Vicino on the Lake for a year and I recently moved out. I would not recommend living here. It looks nice on the outside and they do have some decent amenities, but there are many problems within the community that management simply refuses to fix and that they'd rather create repeated excuses for instead. My biggest issue was the A/C. My apartment would hardly get below 80 degrees in the summer months despite submitting numerous maintenance requests, and this ended up costing me hundreds in my monthly electric bill. They only have 2 maintenance men who really arent equipped to handle larger issues. I reached out to management at least 7 times over the course of 1 month, and there was minimal effort put into addressing the issue. They claimed that I should just keep my blinds closed at all times and not utilize my balcony at all. Even with this, my apartment did not cool off at all. This is what ultimately caused me to move out. They also had a change in property managers in the last year, and it really went downhill from there. At this point, its very clear that resident concerns are not of importance to them. It's rare that anyone from the office will ever actually answer the phone. I can't estimate the number of times I have e-mailed the property manager regarding a concern and I never hear back, requiring me to go to the office myself to get an issue addressed only to find that no one is there. They've had such a high turnover rate of employees that it seems like I am always speaking to someone new and they're hardly ever informed on the most updated policies and procedures. Ultimately, Vicino on the Lake is a decent looking community, but it's an older property with way too many issues that cause for a very inconvenient living experience. This in addition to management's lack of concern for resident issues as well as their sloppiness prevents me from being able to recommend this property to anyone.
