Wow, I have nothing but positive things to say. I moved in six months ago and while I am not necessarily a fan of the city, after my last apartment experience in Chicago, I wasn't moving for the city itself, I was moving to a place I could call home and finally have some peace in my life. I really love the people at Mansion House. Brittany, Valerie, Veronica, Linda and all of the staff really go out of their way to make sure that the residents are taken care of. While the place isn't perfect (no place is), they really do everything they can to help make Mansion House an elite place to live. The only updates I would like to see are the PR room updated as well as security patrolling the dog park at night. While I don't think it's dangerous (the apartment is very safe and in a safe area), the easy access for anyone to get to the dog park would make it more assuring of this. Everything is included except for electricity which you need to set up through Ameren. The leasing agents are very up front about this during tours as well as the need for renters insurance. They were also up front that the heating and air is controlled by the apartment however the temperature is always comfortable. Overall, I definitely recommend Mansion House. It has been the best six months of apartment living I have had. They really go out of their way to host free events for residents, take care of manintance requests in a timely manner, and keep the place presentable.

Absolutely everything you could want right here. Very clean, convenient to stores, train, busses, on site FREE laundry, FREE personal trainer, quick response maintenance, friendly doormen, holiday parties, pool parties given by staff, and awesome neighbors.

I really love Mansion House. However, I would like to see the front load washers replaced with top loaders-so much more efficient. Also would like more of an ability to control heat and air.

Maintenance items weren't ever fully fixed to a working order such as closet doors, screen door. They aren't fair in their assessment when moving out and they are determining what of your deposit you get back. My mom and I spent hours cleaning the apt and it was spotless, but they kept my deposit, but they charged me more because they felt the carpet needed replacing which it didn't. I suspect they do that with all renters because they did the same thing when my sister moved out from mansion.
